Apartment, recently renovated (aug.2013), with 2 bedrooms, large and comfortable, bathroom and kitchen.Centrally located:Coliseum 25 min walking dinstance,as many others attractions...like Fori Romani,Piazza Venezia...,Close,very close to the main train stations of Rome (Termini and Tiburtina) and 7/10 minutes far from the most famous touristic sites of Rome,by bus (n71), just outside the door of the building. In the neighborhood lots of restaurants, bars, supermarkets.Towels and linens provided. From march '14 internet wifi available.
Normally we pick up our guests in the nearest Termini train station by car (only 3 min driving from the apartment),but, remember!,have to be confirmed in our messages. The check out is by 10.00h,in case of "check in" of another guest on the same day.
If not, we can schedule a different check out time.
We invite you to read all the reviews from previous guests, even of my other apartments in the same area,to make up your opinion.
Our stay in Rome (5 days) was very wonderfull.
The flat is confortable and clean. Marco came to Termini to take us (10-15min walking). He is welcoming and he adviced us for our arrival (prices of the city, location of the supermarket...). If we had questions one phone was at our disposition.
So I recommand this flat for the quality of the accomodation and for the hospitality of the renters.
clean, light and comfortable apartment! very nice experience!
It was nice apartment.
Amen prepared local mobile phone for emergency situation.
If use bus, then can go a little bit more comfortable.
This flat is brilliant! It is located in San Lorenzo on the "other side" of all the major tourist sights, but this works to its advantage. If you like paying 2.50 EURO for a coffee and an aperitivo, eat excellent Italian food, and share your table with locals not other tourists, this is the place for you. Okay, it may look a little rough around the edges at first (Graffiti, etc) but it felt safe at all times. Restaurants and bars are everywhere, and are very cheap but good. We ate dinner at "I Fratelli" next to the house after arriving at midnight. There are two supermarkets, and the Esquiline Market is a 5min walk away - in case the Roman breakfast of cappucchino and a small sweet cake, to be had in bars everywhere, doesn't appeal.
No 71 Bus stops 200m outside the house and takes you not just to Termini, but right into the centre of town, and it does indeed just take a few minutes. It is also easy to use the Metro by walking to Vittorio Emanuele, a mere 7-8min walk away.
The flat is on the first floor of a well maintained building and in excellent condition. It is comfortable and spotlessly clean, and there is everything you need. Minor flaws are that the shower is a little small but works perfectyly and there is no Wifi. Bed is very comfortable. There can be a little bit of noise outside at night time (people outside bars), but we only noticed this on Friday night, and the windows are double-glazed which dulled any kind of noise, and it did not trouble us at all. We felt right at home here - the kitchen is small but well-equipped, we even cooked on one day, and ate in the kitchen - all easily possible. We couldn't have asked for more.
Check-in was flawless. Due to our late arrival, Marco kindly collected us from Ciampino - he was there within a minute of us arriving, and it couldnt have been a smoother check-in. Amen and Marco were excellent hosts - they were contactable for all kinds of enquiries via mobile they gave us - we didn't use it, but it's good to know!
I have stayed in Rome a few times, and this is one of the nicest and most convenient locations I have had the pleasure to stay in,a nd would do so again without hesitation.
We really enjoyed the stay at this apartment; even though it was a 15 mins walk to the termini station, but you are staying in a local neighborhood and the restaurants around are cheaper than those in the tourist trail. If only there were internet provided, it will be perfect!
The apartment is in a good location, lots of great resturants. A few down sides, a popular bar across the street that we could hear loud music and talking to 4am. But if you are a deep sleeper probably not an issue. The bathroom has some mold on the ceiling so if you have alergies it might be a problem.
My husband and I had a pleasant stay in Rome and at this apartment. Marco is an amazing host. He picked us up at the Termini Trainstation, which is really just abt a 10 minutes walk away from the apartment, as mentioned in the description. Plus he gave us a cell phone with a local Sim Card, so we can call him or other people for free. Would stay there anytime! Thank you!
It was nice experience. Amen was very friendly and supportive in guiding and helping us with our bags. The apartment is well located, near to the main train station and some good shops and restaurants.
I really have a good time in Amen Isoken's apartment. The apartment is spacious and cosy. The kitchen is well furnitured. We cook by ourselves. It's really nice for Amen Isoken to pick us up in the termini station and leave us a cellphone, she answers everything we need. We will recommend you to choose this apartment.
My wife and I had an enjoyable stay but it wasn't our best AirBNB experience to date.
The place is quite functional with a good shower and bed. There is no wifi which was quite a pain for us.
The location isn't brilliant so expect to use transport quite a bit. Some of the restaurants in the area are cheap and tacky.
The check in process was okay, there was a bit of miscommunication and the actual address was not provided beforehand.
