Long description:

The Central Berlin Mitte Séparée is located in the middle of former East-Berlin. At this historic place i offer a sweet, easy going & private place wich is separated by a heavy and view-thru-safe curtain from the rest of the flat. And because we are located in the former east of Berlin, i also call it the "Iron Curtain".

Price:
25 Euro each guest / night
(Max. 2 guests possible)

Included and FREE of charge:

- Kitchen usage
- Bathroom usage
- Some free space in my fridge
- Fresh towels - 1 big towel and / or 1 small towel for each guest, fresh bedcloth, bed linen plus a blanket
- Free usage of laundry machine + detergent
- Free coffe & tea
- Free and fast WIFI
- A mens bicycle for rent: 5.- Euro/day (If available. Please ask me, if needed)

To buy some toiletries an other stuff there is a big supermarket round the corner which is open until 23:00 o'clock. (Shops name: REWE, 2 minutes walking distance. Just step out left out of the house door and then turn left into Invalidenstrasse)

I am looking forward to see you soon! :-)
All the best,
Chris

  • This is a perfect location with a lovely host! The neighborhood is full of good restaurants and bars and the subway is just two blocks away, but we walked to all of the main Berlin sites like the Berlin Wall Memorial, Brandenburg Tor, etc. Chris was a very gracious host and even left toothpaste for us and gummy bears on the pillows. The price is extremely reasonable and we were really happy to find this listing.

  • I stayed at Chris's apartment in Mitte for 2 nights in July 2014. Clean and comfortable apartment in a great location to explore Berlin. Chris was very friendly and helpful with directions to the apartment and suggestions for places to go / eat during my stay. I would recommend the flat.

  • I only stayed with Christian for one night but I wish I had the time to stay longer.

Christian was very helpful, easy to talk to, and easy going. The bed was very comfortable and Christian has notes and maps in the room for you to use to explore Berlin. He always did his best to help me.

The location of the apartment is always very nice. It was easy to find the room and it's located right across from a beautiful park where I ate lunch at. You can use the subway right down the street and at night there are bars and shops on Brunnenstraße which are fun and popular on the weekends.

  • Chris was awesome. Very kind and polite.
My visit was short, just for one night, so i did not had the chance to get know Chris more than the first impression, which was quite great. :)
He helped with the luggage. 3d floor.
The place was very clean and welcoming.
The bed was great and comfortable.
No problems with coming in and geting out, youre geting a pair of keys and your ready to rock in the free world. ;)
Just be attentive to the house rules and all be more than great.

Chris's place is perfect, few steps from U-8 'Rozrnthaler Platz' which is two stops away from 'Alexander Platz'.
    Free wifi. :D
    Bottom line, rewarding.
Will come back again for sure. :)

  • Christian was very nice and easy to communicate with. He was clear in explaining how things worked in the apartment, and actively sought to make me feel at home (from providing some fruit to helping me navigate the kitchen). The neighborhood is just fabulous. There is a beautiful park across the street, it is a short walk to the Berlin Wall Monument (25 mins), to Mauer Park (20 mins), and some really great cafes and restaurants (Chay Viet has incredible pho, and St Oberholz is a lovely writing and reading space, but there are many other great places just steps away. It is situated close to many transit lines, and easy to get to from Alexanderplatz. I am a single woman and I felt comfortable walking around the neighborhood around 11 to midnight, there are lots of people around. The apartment is small. If you are coming from the U.S. or a non European place, it may feel such. However, it is very clean, and Christian is friendly but respects guests privacy. I felt that my space was my own, and it was a lovely little room with a nice view to the park.

  • Chris was very friendly. I was arriving on a late flight, which was late and then I took a long time to work out the transport system. End result Chris had to wait up for me to the early hours of the morning. He did so without complaint.

The accommodation was as advertised, basic but comfortable. Perfect location close to transport and walking distance to the very centre of Berlin.

Overall great value and recommended as affordable friendly and in a great location.
