Once I got accepted, Susan immediately responded back. She gave us a list of suggestions and she was fairly flexible with trying to meet our schedule. The place on the listing is one of the condos in the picture. The pictures and settings were fairly accurate of what the place actually looked like. It is also literally at the beach (50 feet) and it was awesome! The beach was amazing and there are also several shops/restaurants within a 5 minutes drive from the location.
Though we didn't get to stay at Susan's property due to a maintenance issue at a neighboring unit, she quickly took care of us and made everything smooth as silk.
We had a great time at the condo! It was clean and exactly as described. Susan was very informative and helpful before and during our stay. We would certainly stay here again!
We had a great stay at Sunchase. The unit was very clean, tidy and decorated well. The front door and living room window had a great view of the ocean. The facility also had a pool that we used quite often on our stay. Susan was super easy to communicate with and an accommodating hostess. We have already recommended her place to several friends and hope to return soon!
Where to start on this awesome vacation? This was our first visit to Gulf Shores and we absolutely loved it. Susan's condo was perfect for our small family of 4! It's not huge but, has plenty of space in the right places and is very homey. Nicely decorated, clean, and stocked with the necessities. The neighborhood was nice with local eateries and convenience stores within walking distance. We walked nightly to the ice cream shop just up the street :) Check out Lartique's Seafood Take Out near the Gulf Shores Park. It was amazing!! The beach was beautiful and not overly crowded - Appears to be open only to the smaller condo units and town houses in this area. The condo unit's pool is somewhat smaller than I like and was full most of our trip so, we didn't visit that area. Susan and the property manager were both very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back to this area again!
Our condo was awesome! The directions and instructions that Susan sent was very simple to follow. Any problem that we had was addressed immediately and she was super nice to talk to. We loved the fact that we could stand on our balcony and see the gulf not to mention a very short walk to the beach. Hope to book again!
I came here for a relaxing weekend getaway with a few of my friends and this condo provided the perfect home base for our group. The condo was clean, quiet and just a few steps away from the beach! Our host was responsive, answered all of our questions quickly and made some great recommendations for places to eat in the neighborhood.
My only suggestion is that travelers who are coming to stay in the condo should plan on making a stop at Wal-mart or Rouses on your way, as the mini-mart across the street is convenient, but a bit over-priced.
About the Host, Susan
I live in Alabama, but I'm originally from the northeast. I like to run, bike and workout. I love spending time at the beach, and think laughter is the secret to happiness.
