  • Kent was easy to communicate with. He was responsive and helpful. All the information he gave including the check in instructions, and what to expect from the time to arrival and with the place was accurate and easy to understand. The Location itself was wonderful, The floor to ceiling windows offered a great view of Los Angeles (though not the skyline). I used this loft to host a wedding reception and all my guests were asking me how I found the place because they were so impressed. A great experience all around.

  • The loft is gorgeous, looks exactly like the photos and better! Had an amazing welcome by Kent with a lovely note and fresh flowers so felt at home straight away. There is also a free indoor parking space so I never felt scared in this area. The only downsides really were a strong mouldy smell coming from the sink in the kitchen area, not having a closet to put clothes in (though if you ask Kent he said he'll provide hangers) and the internet occasionally played up, so it would just stop working, then come on again, a bit unpredictable so a few times I had to do my emails from a coffee shop. Also one of the main attractions to the flat was the piano and it was a bit funky (out of tune/or just old?) so I wasn't really able to use it that much. I think that for what you get, relative to the rate and the area, it is probably a little overpriced, but on the whole I had an unforgettable time here in this visually beautiful open space with its amazing books, furniture and artwork!

    Response from Kent:

Hey Athena.. I apologize about being out of contact at times.. As I mentioned before, had you told me about the closet space or not being happy with the piano I would have made arrangements to fix the issues. The piano was tuned prior to your arrival and I checked it myself before you got there. Keep in mind it's 100 years old player piano which may not be what you were expecting. That piano has been used on several albums over the past 3 years. I use it regularly. I would have hooked you up with a midi controller if you had just let me known before the last day of your stay.

I would love to host you guys again anytime.. Kent:)

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great loft and location (centrally located downtown) - it was perfect for our bachelorette party. Kitchen has a variety of pans, dishes, cooking wear, etc. - plenty of towels and toilet paper. There were several air mattresses - enough room to sleep the seven of us. Kent was good at keeping in touch when needed. Excellent experience - definitely recommend the stay. Thanks Kent!

  • Staying at Kent's place was my first airbnb experience and Kent was very helpful in getting me set up and walking me through how it works once I booked. His place is nice and I enjoyed my stay. Unfortunately a water line broke during my stay and hot water was unavailable for a day. Kent was nice enough to give me a discount on my stay which is greatly appreciated. I would stay here again.

  • Hard to say which was better, the loft or the host... Both exceeded my expectations which made it such an easy and great trip. This loft is both family friendly and great for the more sophisticated person. I cooked both of my dinners in the kitchen. It was fully stocked with everything I needed, including oils and spices.

Overall: great place with a great host!

  • This place is amazing! Loads of space, awesome view, park right outside, easy access to downtown and freeways. I've stayed at both of Kents properties and continue to put out of town clients in them as well. It really doesn't compare to any hotel. Kent is also very easy to get ahold of and always flexible. A++ all around.

  • Kent was the best host & made himself available for any questions during our 1 night stay at his awesome loft!!! The loft was very spacious, clean & comfy for our family of 7 (including 5 teenage boys)! We would definitely stay again!!!

  • We rented Kent's loft for a couples photoshoot and my girlfriend's birthday party (20 people). The giant mural, antique instruments, retro lighting, and all his other furniture seemed tastefully curated. The loft provided a fantastic setting for our photoshoot. The party was great too. Our friends enjoyed the open kitchen, standalone bar, comfortable couches, and colorful lighting. The rules were clearly communicated and he was easy to get a hold of when I had questions. Thanks Kent!

I am easy going and love to show people a good time. I love to develop, create and produce art projects in all forms. I grew-up in a small-town farming community in Southwest Iowa before heading to school in Nashville, TN. From Nashville I moved to Miami, FL where I worked as a staff engineer at The Hit Factory Recording Studio and later personal engineer to Julio Iglesias. In 2004 I moved to Los Angeles and opened "Spiral Recording Studios". In 2009 I started working with Steve Miller of The Steve Miller Band and produce content for Space Cowboy Records. I now develop and produce multimedia projects for Cavalier Artist Group. I pride myself in seeing the potential in things and helping artists make their dreams into a reality. I believe less is more and do onto others as you would have them do onto you. Kent
