  • We had an amazing experience staying at Annalie's home. She was very good at communicating with us. When we arrived, the house was clean and warmly lit and inviting. The pictures do not do it justice! It is just lovely. The neighborhood was really cute with an amazing coffee shop in walking distance. There are some great restaurants and shops nearby. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

  • This is the greatest "Girls Weekend" rental we could have hoped for. Annalie made it very easy for us to "check in" and out. The home is decorated with every amenity that you would receive at a hotel and more. She provided a listing of restaurants and hot spots in the area which was helpful too.

The Craftsman Charm made our visit to Minneapolis feel like home!

  • We had a great time staying at Annalie's house! The house is beautifully decorated with vintage charm, we felt right at home. We also traveled with our small dogs who enjoyed hanging out in the fenced in yard and running in the park down the street. I would highly recommend this stay.

  • Fantastic house with charming decor and design.
    Safe neighborhood.
We felt well taken care of and completely comfortable. Annalie was easily accessible, but everything was so wonderful there was no need.

  • Annalie was such a pleasure as a host. She responded to my requests immediately and was very helpful in fulfilling our needs. She helped us acquire baby gear during our stay, which was an amazing bonus. We had a great stay despite the cold winter!

  • We had our son and his family [spouse, teen, and two toddlers] here for almost a week. Annalie's house was an almost perfect place for them to stay and for our entire family to conduct dinners, decorations, and chat (website hidden) full force we were nine humans plus two visiting dogs.

The kitchen, while it could use a dishwasher, was fine for meal preparation. The dining room table allowed all to sit in comfort. There were plenty of plates, utensils, glassware etc.

    In short, a winner overall.

The family voted to use Annalie's house in the future with one provision: the front steps from the sidewalk and the steps going into the house absolutely must have handrails. This reviewer has bad eyesight and needs to have a rail for balance. Younger adults carrying toddlers needed a handrail to counteract the wiggling.

The lack of the handrails is the reason for four, rather than five stars. Annalie has agreed in principle to have the handrails installed.

  • We had a fantastic time staying at Annalie's gorgeous house. It's close to everything excellent in Minneapolis. Annalie was also a terrific and attentive host. We'd stay again in a second.

  • My wife and I live in the Twin Cities but we needed a place to stay with our dogs while our home was being worked on for a few weeks.

Our stay was great. The neighborhood is good very close to downtown Minneapolis and the suburbs. It's a transitional area but we never had any issues. No issues with parking or walking around to nearby parks.

Our dogs LOVED it. The owner catered to our dogs needs by having toys and water dishes for them. The backyard is very nicely landscaped and well fenced for their safety.

Due to the location, we found good restaurants close by such as Blackbird, Town Hall Tap and Turtle Bread. There are two BBQ places near by that are the real deal - Ted Cooks 19th Hole and Smoke in the Pit.

This is a very well kept house that we would recommend for vistors who want something other than a hotel.

About
Traveler, artist, cook, and animal lover. I have been a "renter" using airbnb for a 2-week, multi-city trip to France and for several other stops in the US. After several fantastic experiences on the renter side, I decided to try the hosting portion to help pass on the great experiences I have had with others!
