SHOREDITCH/HOXTON/THE CITY AREA
Flat is in Shoreditch, zone 1, Central London. It is between East London and City of London so it has the best of both worlds. City of London is where London started so it’s the oldest part of London, the original London. Nowadays also quite formal and business like. The East End is the complete opposite, a young, very vibrant and interesting area, full of galleries, street markets, pubs, restaurant and clubs. You will not be bored!
The flat is in a quiet street so you can sleep peacefully but all the fun is a few seconds away once you feel up for it. There are also food stores, a 24 hour shop and fast food places just around the corner.
Shoreditch and East London is also famous for thousands of new start-ups in the last five years. Old street roundabout is now "Tech City" and people refer to it also as "Silicon Roundabout".

Tanja was very accommodating and settled us into the flat just fine with some good recommendations for local food etc. A great flat and perfect for our needs. Thank you! :)
Tres bel Appartement, tres cosy, tres propre et idéalement situé ! Accueil irréprochable ! Nous recommendons fortement cet appartement pour un week end londonien entre amis !
Tanja's apartment is superbly located for exploring the east end, in particular Shoreditch area ansd all its trendy markets and cafes. It's within an easy walk of the tube. The apartment is clean and neat and perfect for a short stay. Thanks for the helpful guides and maps too.
Tanja was great. Apartment and all comforts were available as discussed with Tanja before we arrived. She went to the extra trouble of getting a travel cot organised to make night times easier for everyone. We had a terrific time and the apartment was ideally located with ease to public transport for both walking toddler and pusher.
The flat was cozy and located in a great area, close to a tube stop and to the Brick Lane and Spitalfields areas. Tanja met us there and provided us with SIM cards and gave us useful tips on London.
