Our stay @ Linda's apartment in The City was perfect. She was very accommodating, quick to respond to questions and helpful with parking information. We got lucky. & found street parking in front on the place. Otherwise there are lots in the area for approx $25 per day. Not bad for San Fran. The location of the apartment is ideal! We walked most places or found quick & easy access to public transportation. You really don't need a car if staying here. The apartment itself was inviting & comfie. Spacious and stocked with things you would need... Including that something you left behind - make-up remover, chapstick, shampoo... The basics. I have been traveling to San Fran for 25+ years and I would totally stay @ Lnda's again. Thanks for hosting!
We did not get to meet Linda but Liz her daughter met us on arrival and showed us the apartment. The apartment itself is very spacious and comfortable and in my opinion ideally located just a 15 minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf. The facilities around the corner on Polk are ideal for eating out or in and we found the neighbourhood very friendly. We had a wonderful stay, thank you.
Linda and her daughter were great during our stay! Her daughter handles meeting with you and providing the key, and apartment tour. She was very responsive and very nice! The apartment was super clean and neat and provides everything you need! Also the location is beyond amazing! They were so nice to provide us with umbrellas as it was really pouring one of the days we were there. Only caveat to this place is since it is an older building, many noises can be heard from the apartments upstairs but at night there was no issue. Only during the day which is understandable.
My boyfriend and I stay at the Russian Hill location and it was awesome. Very clean with plenty of room. The pictures really don't do it justice. The bathroom was nice and clean as well as all the linens. The best part about the place is that we walked everywhere! Pier 39 was close and it was an easy walk downhill. I also highly suggest taking UBER (download the app) everywhere in San Fran if you're looking for a taxi service. Additionally, our flight got in very very late and they were very accommodating with our arrival time. My only complaint would be the first night we stayed there someone must have been above us because they were extremely loud walking around the next morning at 7:00 am. Maybe bring ear plugs? Other than that we will definitely stay here again if we come to San Fran in the future.
This apartment is spacious and very well appointed- I am amazed that it is available for short-term use; it would be snapped up in a second at a high rent for full-time rental! The kitchen is the best quality I've ever had on Air BnB and it is spacious enough for a couple with one child to stay for good. Excellent coordination and very flexible at check-in and departure.
Charming apartment in the best location imaginable!
Clean, comfortable and fully-equipped.
Liz, Linda's daughter, welcomed me in and was very helpful.
Would love to stay here again next time I visit San Francisco.
The title is correct! This apartment is in the perfect location. Around the corner, you will find Polk Street and its array of electric storefronts. (Be sure to check out Loving Cup coffee shop.) Lombard Street and the San Francisco Bay coastline is just blocks away. Very convenient!
The place was very clean and cozy. We loved the architecture and the pottery. It felt like a home.
After we checked out, the hosts kindly stored our luggage while we explored the city for a few hours. Thank you!
San Francisco is a great city to visit and this apartment is very centrally located. The place is very clean and comfortable and the check in process was smooth.
Beautiful apartment in a great area. It's the kind if apartment you would love to live in permanently. It is located in an old and charming house. Very clean and well equipped so perfect if you plan to cook your own meals. We preferred going out for dinner as there are so many great restaurants, cafés and shops within 5-10 min walking distance. You don't really need a car as everything can be reached by foot, cable car or other public transportation. The area is very safe. If you have a car you can park in the public parking areas nearby which will cost approx. 24 $ per day. We enjoyed staying there and would certainly come back. Highly recommended!
We loved this place. We really only stayed to sleep but Linda was really sweet and was always prompt with responding to anything. This place was really pretty and had plenty of room to relax. We really enjoyed the character of it and especially the location. It's close to lots of great restaurants and the wharf. I would without a doubt come back here on my next trip to San Fran.
