Our rental is a Private guest cottage one half block from Mobile Bay. You can walk to town, the beach, parks and trails. There are also several restaurants within walking distance . Our Street has a public pier for your use. The cottage has 1 queen bed and queen sofa sleeper, microwave, mini fridge and a garden view. The space is similar to a large hotel room .. We enjoy visitors from other parts of the country who come to enjoy the warmth of our weather and warmth of our southern hospitality. Fairhope is an hour away from Pensacola Fl, and 45 minutes from Mobile Al. Both of those airports are convenient. The Gulf of Mexico beaches are also 45 minutes away.
Our guests enjoy the serenity and tranquility of the backyard garden and the friendliness and beauty of the surrounding area .
Absolutely wonderful guest cottage in a beautiful picturesque location. We had everything we needed. The cottage was clean, quaint and perfectly located with just a very short drive to the town shops and just a walk down the block to the beautiful bay. We didn't get to meet our hostess in person as she was out of town, but we felt her welcoming touch.
We had a wonderful weekend in Fairhope. Eugenia was the perfect hostess. The cottage was just as cozy as described and pictured, one block from a walk along the bay and pier access to watch the sunsets, but also private with a view of Eugenia's beautiful garden. We will definitely stay here again on our future Fairhope getaways.
We spend two nights at gena's cottage in Fairhope. We will definitely return and stay there again. The location is perfect. The cottage is just right for a couple. The cottage is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the Art walk and seeing Gena's dancer perform. Gena left us breakfast and drinks. She was such a nice lady I HIGHLY recommend staying here.
What a great visit we had at the Fairhope Cabbage Patch Cottage!
Miss Gina is the best hostess - she really makes you feel like you've come home, always available but never intrusive! She stocked the fridge with drinks and sat out fresh fruit and blueberry muffins before our arrival.
Cable TV and Wireless Internet included, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, large shower and closet space too!
If you're looking for a quiet getaway, right next to the beach and surrounded by great places to eat, shop and walk, look no further!!! As the parents of 6 kids, it was just what the doctor ordered, an absolute hidden gem!
Clean, quiet, private and completely affordable we wanted to stay longer, but reality wouldn't allow it!
Can't wait till next year Gina! Thanks again!
Gina met us on arrival and made us feel comfortable right away. The cottage faces a small beautifully landscaped garden and has a patio just outside the door. The neighborhood's towering magnolias, oaks and pines are a haven for songbirds. Gina oriented us with directions to the bay, downtown and nearby parks. Many sights are within easy walking distance through shady quiet tree lined lanes. Thyme On The Bay Cafe (Gina's suggestion) just up the street has great food and is perfect for watching the sunset.
The cottage was perfect for our getaway. There were two adults and a child and we were cozy and comfortable. The hosts were thoughtful and friendly, but we had plenty of privacy in the cottage. The location is wonderful. Bring bicycles or walking shoes so you can explore the lovely neighborhoods, bay front parks and piers, and town shops and restaurants. We loved it.
This lovely cottage adjacent to the main house is charming and comfortable, one block from the pier. The owners are quite gracious. It was perfect -- private and quiet, with hosts who were thoughtful and readily available if need be but otherwise unobtrustive. The street is filled with charming homes and a pleasant place to be.
Our stay at the cabbage patch cottage was wonderful! Eugenia was the perfect host. We enjoyed wine with her, her husband Martin and a close friend out on their inviting patio. The cottage was adorable and nestled in a beautiful garden. The location was ideal as you could walk to the peer, several quaint eateries and very close to downtown. I would definitely stay there again!
Gina was a lovely host, very accommodating. The cottage is well appointed, with just about all you would need and includes a bed as well as a sleeper couch. The most amazing part of the house is probably it's outdoor garden and proximity to the Bay. The neighborhood is great for walking and very close to downtown Fairhope with lots of little cafes and boutiques. I would totally stay again.
We really enjoyed our trip here. The hosts were lovely and the landscaping was beautiful. The town was great and was within walking distance to anywhere in Fairhope. So many great homes and beautiful trees. We had 4 people and it was cramped, but we knew it would be. Perfect place for a couple.
