Excellent! Excellent! This was an amazing stay. Their Retreat is magnificent and they are great hosts. The pictures don't do it justice. It is very modern within and helps you rest after a long time on the road. Both Dat and Alan helped me relax and enjoy my stay! I will for sure stay when I'm in Des Moines again! I really enjoyed the outdoor space!
I had a brief but great stay with Alan and Dat. I arrived after midnight and Alan was awaiting my arrival on the porch. The room and bath were very comfortable and super clean. Bonus, they're Uber drivers as well. Would definitely stay there again.
It is a joy to be surrounded by a clean, comfortable, beautiful space. I had access to the kitchen for food preparation, the door lock was already keyed for me and the WiFi was readily available. Dat showed me around. I was tempted by the jacuzzi but never had the time to indulge.
What a great trip! Dat and Alan were very welcoming and hospitable. We could not have asked for a better first experience with Airbnb. The bedroom and private bathroom were very clean and fully stocked with all you could need and more. The rest of the house was very nice as well. Alan (we did not get to meet Dat) was very helpful by giving us some local tips and suggestions for the weekend. The neighborhood was lovely and everything about the stay felt safe and comfortable.
We had a great time staying with Dat and Alan. They were in communication with us before our stay and warmly welcomed us into their home. Marc mentioned that I had been looking forward to eating Iowa corn and they made us some! The room was beautiful!
This was a stay that shows in segments as does my review. However, it is a pleasure to again thank Dat and Alan for their hospitality.
Dat and Alan were excellent, friendly hosts. The entire home was incredibly clean and modern with a beautifully-maintained lawn and facade. All necessary amenities were provided, and there were great restaurants within walking distance. I recommend checking out the wine and cheese selection at Gateway Market which was only a few blocks away. This is a spectacular place to stay for a relaxing weekend retreat.
