Interaction with Guests
We have a manager nearby who is available for any questions or concerns.
Where to begin! The area is called the "Land of 1001 Chateaux" and there might be just a few more than that. The house is in a perfect position in the small picturesque town of Vitrac while only 6km outside of the bustling medieval town of Sarlat. I can't say enough about the beauty and tranquility of the area. You have to take a canoe or kayak ride down the river, within walking distance from the house!
Parking is included. We are out in the country so a car is necessary unless you are a bike enthusiast.
There is a $75 euro cleaning deposit. Please take all trash to the bins and leave towels washed and clean. Load dishwasher and leave kitchen free of dirty dishes. Also, empty fridge.
Cynthia's place is absolutely beautiful, pristine, and in a perfect location. Would highly recommend it to anyone. My wife, son, and I had a lot of fun in the area. And Cynthia is very accommodating; even found a babysitter for my son on couple of the nights. Thank you, Cynthia.
Our stay at Villa Page was wonderful. Waking up to the sound of the birds was so peaceful and perfect. The location allowed us to see many sites but the villa is perfect for just staying right there and enjoying nature and the quiet of the area. Cynthia was a perfect host and communicated quickly when needed before and during our stay. I would highly recommend Vill Page and Cynthia to anyone looking for a calm and serene country setting but also know you have great access to the sites of Beynac, Sarlat and the surrounding area.
Cynthia a toujours répondu rapidement à nos questions.
Oh what a magnificent and truly beautiful home for our week's holiday in the Dordogne Valley. Cynthia, our host, was an outstanding communicator - before during and after our stay, and Cynthia's agent Steve was close by, available and so helpful. Cynthia's villa is near Vitrac, close to medieval Sarlat. It was the most relaxing, comfortable, spacious and well thought out villa you could ever imagine. Only two of us stayed, but this villa could comfortably house a much bigger family. We arrived stressed and tired from our first car journey in France (driving on opposite side of road for the first time) and left a week later totally refreshed and convinced we must move to France and totally immerse ourselves in the Perigord French way of life. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful with lush gardens, tall oaks and green lawns. Autumn was beautiful and warm; Most days we sat outside in either courtyard, just relishing the sensuous autumn sights, smells and sounds. It was an environment that inspired my partner to compose and play music. The kitchen was spacious and wonderful to prepare fresh foods from nearby markets (we enjoyed lots of local produce like fresh figs, walnuts and hazelnuts, local cheeses and wines, duck eggs, fresh fish... oh, we probably ate too much... ) We slept really well, our bedroom was elegant and beautiful, and the bed was good for us. Bathrooms and all amenities were comfortable and easy to use. We were surrounded by much artwork including beautiful photos. What an inspiring place in which to just be, or write and draw, and relish the time to contemplate and thoroughly enjoy this amazing life.
The house was beautiful as was the setting. It was "move in" ready when we arrived, all household instructions were in plain view as well as suggestions of what to see and do.The location is perfect for exploring the Dordogne Valley. All in all a lovely, peaceful place to spend a vacation. Cynthia was quick to respond to any question we had prior to our visit.
