About This Listing
Cozy 1 bed located in the heart of the old town Antibes in a pedestrian friendly street. Entirely renovated this “pied a terre” overlooks a charming garden. Tranquility and peace in the heart of the old town.
Minutes away from the local market where you can wonder every morning and discover fresh and organic fruits and vegetables, spices, cheese, flowers and local products. Buy your croissant and fresh bread every morning. This unit is on the second floor of a nice building located on the cobblestones streets of old Antibes. Walk to the sand beaches or to the marina.
Just remodeled this unit has top of the line features including wood floors throughout the apartment, double impact windows, private AC, brand new kitchen and bathroom and a balcony. All these features without losing the charm of natural exposed wood beams and stone walls. Have your breakfast and tea on your private balcony to start your day. Then you can decide to stroll in the town and discover the Picasso museum and many art galleries. Of course after your beach day you can stop a second in the charming little boutiques to get your outfit for your evening in one of the many quaint French restaurants.

The apartment is very much as Daniela describes. It is charmingly appointed and in a great section of Antibes. We never met Daniela in person, but her housekeeper Michaela let us in. The apartment was clean and has good amenities. The best thing about the apartment though is it's location in Old Antibes and proximity to beaches, great restaurants, and other attractions.
The only downside to the apartment was a loud and persistent humming noise that comes from one of the neighboring units. This came on a couple times every hour and will probably keep you from sleeping if you don't have earplugs. I believe Daniela is working to resolve this, but I wouldn't stay here until I know that it's been fixed. That said, if the noise is resolved we would absolutely stay here again.
It was nice to be so close to the beach! Daniela has a housekeeper who was prompt to meet us. Gave us a quick preview of the features of the house. For the price it was all we needed. The water in Antibes is coming through old pipes, so be patient when planning to shower. I suggest running the water for 5-7 minutes before entering. The water smelled like old eggs at first but then there were no problems. Plenty of space for your things as this is clearly a rental and not lived in by the owner.
I was disappointed to receive a request for $30 after the fact when a shoddy lamp was poorly placed and then I noticed when making the bed the comforter pulled the shade slightly down. They managed to not put a working lightbulb in the lamp on the dresser table. Overall it was a nice place to chill. The backyard area is very overgrown and private. Beautiful in its privacy. You can overlook it from the patio but not enter.
This unit was a good size for me and my husband. It has a beautiful view and is very well located in the Old Town of Antibes. We used the kitchen to cook which was great. Unfortunately, we found many of the dishes to be dirty and had to wash them before use. The bed was also uncomfortable and had a really cheap bed frame that snapped together and was not very sturdy. Additionally, only half of the light bulbs worked in the unit. Also something to keep in mind-- the housekeeper who met us to give us the keys did not speak English. I used my very limited French to ask questions about the heat, tv, check out, etc.
This apartment was a perfect getaway for my partner and I. The streets leading to the apartment were lovely traditionally French, quiet, winding streets, which we loved. The view from the apartment was great. I have been living in Antibes now for 1 year, and have never seen an apartment view like it. I think this apartment is ideal for couples who want to relax and chill out.

About the Host, Daniela
I am half French half Italian. Born in Nice, I call the French Riviera my home. I choose Antibes since it's the only old pedestrian charming town on the water. And I am picky ! I love travelling in places where after a few hours I could call them my home. Clean, remodeled, bright and tastefully decorated are the first things I look at to select my place.
In Antibes you will immediately feel like you've known this place forever. It's cobblestone streets, it's galleries, it's stores, it's restaurant and it's beaches will make your vacation unforgettable. I love my apartment since it's in the middle of the old town but since it faces an enchanted garden it seems you are in a secret and cozy place. Customer driven I'll try to reply to you as soon as I can so don't hesitate to call me or to email me. Enjoy your stay !
