The Space

Awww, Sonoma, beauty surrounds us...all within 5-10 minutes of your sweet Vintage Bungalow. Once you open the privacy gates, you can park directly across from the Bungalow. It is separate from the main house and studio with it's own private yard, adirondack chairs and bistro table that look out to the seasonal creek and oak trees. The entire property is fenced and feasible for dogs.
As a former French Antique importer, we've filled the interior with a modern mix of french antiques that will make your stay unique, comfy and airy. It is furnished with a
comfortable, beauty rest queen mattress, down comforter, extra pillows and blankets and if traveling with a child we can provide extra bedding and a french daybed upon request.
Full kitchen, fridge, gas stove, fully stocked with appliances so you can make your own meals and enjoy eating and sipping in our inviting, spacious backyard.

Guest Access

We have a lovely outdoor area set up just for you or if you'd like to sit under the big oak tree, Willy, walk over the foot bridge and to the right is a picnic and bistro table up on the hill.

Interaction with Guests

Our goal is to keep you happy and comfortable and private as possible, if there's anything you need, I am onsite some of the time, but I am ALWAYS available to help you by phone, text or email, anytime!

The Neighborhood

Check out my Faves list for great eats out in Sonoma, home to some of the Bay Area's best cuisine!
Restaurant Fave's!
El Molino Central: Gourmet Mexican at it's finest!
Cafe La Haye: Nice hang, modern, great Cali-Cuisine.
Girl & The Fig: Superb food and fab wine selections! Either Sonoma Square or Glen Ellen.
Sunflower Cafe: Great mimosa's for breakfast & perfect latte's!
Cafe 121: Beautiful lunch at Cornerstone Gardens
Fremont Cafe: Fresh Super Food!
El Dorado Kitchen: Very Very delish!

If you want to cook farm fresh, we have a farmer's market on Tuesday mornings at Sonoma Square or Friday mornings at the railroad depot...the best in the Valley of the Moon! Or go to Oak Hill Farms big red barn, 5 minutes away! We also have Sonoma Market & Whole Foods off the Sonoma Square.

Now...about our local vineyards, all within minutes of your Vintage Bungalow...
Gloria Ferrer, Viansa, Jacuzzi, BR Cohen, Buena Vista, Kenwood, Chateau St. Jean, Landmark, Domaine Chandon Tattinger, Sebastiani, Valley of the Moon,'s amazing how much is right at your fingertips! I may run out of space! As you travel though out Sonoma County, you'll also realize how close we are to Bodega Bay, Tomales Bay...think Hog Island and Nick's Cove for bay oysters! Sebastopol, Petaluma, Santa Rosa, Russian River and yes, Napa is our neighbor too, all of this is within minutes of our location.

Getting around

There are two major airports, SFO & Oakland that you most likely be flying into. Sonoma is a smaller community and renting a car, limo service or driving your own is the most accessible way here. Once you've arrived there are many bike rental shops, even a vespa rental shop if you'd like!

Other Things to Note

***Like many wineries and spas, traffic can be busy and noisy. Please drive safely when you come to stay with us. Use your signal, slow down well before turning right, pull up closely to the gate marked with our address (just past the big palm tree). The privacy gate has a pull in the center, on the left. Lift up and push open from the center, repeat with right gate. Pull into a marked gravel space on right across from the cottage. Whenever entering or exiting, please close privacy gates behind you. Thanks!

As stated above, there is an assigned parking space for you directly across from the Bungalow, also have additional but limited offstreet guest parking if you'd like to entertain, please inquire.
If you would like to bring your dog, a $45 pet cleaning fee is required, left by either check or cash with us. It is completely fenced but please do not allow them to wander unsupervised.
Please be kind and respectful regarding noise to our neighbors to the south, do not disturb tenant in the main house. We are here for you anytime you have a question!

  • Pamela was a wonderful host. The guest house was clean with a very welcoming feel. Any question we had, she was ready and willing with an answer. Be it restaurant choices, winery offerings and more. We would definitely stay with her again!

  • Having stayed at nearly 20 airbnbs have to say that Pamela is among the best! Her cottages are thoughtfully and beautifully decorated and include lovely touches like all natural bath products and cold beers in the fridge. The gardens are relaxing and she doesn't mind at all if your pup romps around a bit. She's got great local recommendations (try crisp - our new favorite bakery). We can't wait to go back!

  • What you see is what you get - a super cute, very well appointed, vintage guest bungalow! Pamela has done a great job at creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We slept really well in the wonderfully comfortable bed with REALLY nice, high-end linens. It was nice meeting Pamela and she was very helpful with shopping and eating recommendations. We stayed for only two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

  • Pamela's bungalow was perfect! It is a cozy apartment with a comfortable bed and sitting area in the back. The AC unit was much appreciated as we visited during a heat wave. The location was also great - close enough to drive easily to Sonoma square and other vineyards, but also far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend!

  • Fabulous first AirBnb experience! Pamela's place is just as she describes in her photos & profile. It feels very private. There's a lovely seating area outside where I enjoyed my morning coffee. We loved running into Pamela & her precious puppy! She filled us in on some recommendations for our visit & was very friendly & welcoming. If we have the opportunity to return we will absolutely consider staying at one of Pamela's cottages.

  • I stayed at the fabulous bungalow for 4 nights as a much-needed getaway. Pam was a great host: great recommendations for restaurants and running paths. She's really friendly and makes herself available if needed.

The bungalow was really home away from home. The bed was super comfortable, everything clean, plenty of sunshine, and loved the space in the backyard. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area again.

  • I stayed in Pamela's bungalow for two nights. All in all, I'm very glad I chose her listing on airbnb. Pamela was very accessible and extremely easy to communicate with to coordinate my reservation. Additionally, her home is exactly as described - convenient location, well appointed (e.g. appliances, patio, wi-fi, etc.), impeccably clean and very tastefully decorated. It's clearly evident how much she cares for the property, inside and out. I will definitely look to rent from Pamela again when I return to Sonoma in the future.

  • Fantastic bungalow set in peaceful gardens complete with hammock. The furnishings were of the highest standard with lots of great little touches. Pamela was great, welcoming and friendly. Very much recommended!

  • Pamela and her adorable pup Heywood were wonderful hosts during our weekend getaway in Sonoma. The bungalow was just as pictured. I especially loved the modern french chic decor and finishing touches. We had everything we needed, and Pamela was quite willing to help and available.

We had our morning coffee/tea out on the cozy outdoor patio everyday, which had a view of the grounds and the lovely stream that ran through the property.

We're definitely going to be looking to book Pamela's place again for our next trip!

  • Fell in love with this cozy, rustic bungalo with within minutes of arriving. It was the perfect haven for the start of our honeymoon, and so comfortably felt like home in an instant. That is no small feat! Pamela was a fantastic host who gave the best suggestions of certain off-the-beaten-path destinations to check out and, of the ones we were able to, none disappointed. We left yesterday to head to Yosemite, but I honestly can see booking an entire trip in Sonoma in the future. The charm of our French country home away from home is still leaving me longing for it, the relaxing backyard was such a pleasurable atmosphere for sipping some of the wines we brought back or eating a yummy breakfast that we cooked inside. We really enjoyed the moments we had chatting with Pamela when she was nearby. Also, the ambient lighting near the hammock and seating area made for some great relaxing moments. Absolutely recommend this spot to anyone wanting to be at the center of Sonoma. Thank you for such a wonderful experience, Pamela! Please give Haywood some lovins for us :o}

Hello, I'm Pamela, your hostess and Haywood, the friendly puppy in the photo. Like you, I love to travel as well...airbnb is great! We love living in the Bay Area, and after spending many years in San Francisco and traveling for work often to France, the move here makes it that much sweeter. I enjoy the wineries, of course, so many amazing and endless vineyards to explore. Cycling, hiking, and well, shopping are some of my favorite things to do here. Ok, I LOVE SPAS too. Oh, the FOOD...everything is so farm fresh! I've worked in the home & design industry for many years and there are amazing shops that shouldn't be missed...I may have to open a tour group! I Love living here and look forward to sharing our little haven and the Wine Country experience.
