Recently fully renovated and furnished 1 bedroom (485 sqf / 45 sqm) apartment in Saint Martin. We look forward to accommodating travelers in our comfortable and tastefully furnished apartment conveniently located in the capital of Saint Martin.
Accommodation is available for short (4 nights minimum) or extended stays (up to 180 days). This vacation rental can comfortably accommodate up to four (4) guests. A small attic may also be used for an additional two children (a maximum of six guests including a maximum of 4 adults in our family-friendly apartment).
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a concrete-structure building which was repainted two years ago in a style reminiscent of the local architectural traditions.
The apartment was fully renovated in 2013. It was equipped and furnished with new appliances (fridge, washing machine, stove and oven) and furniture (sofa, beds) in September 2013.
The fully equipped kitchen leads into the dining and living room area. One bedroom has a queen-size bed with a high quality mattress. The living room includes a 2-person (adult-size) convertible sofa. The bathroom and kitchen were completely remodelled. The unit is fully air conditioned, beautifully decorated, and furnished with appropriate towels, linens, silver and dishware, etc.
Amenities include: air conditioning (AC), washing machine, satellite TV, high speed internet, one queen-size bed and one sofa bed, full kitchen with cooking utensils, refrigerator, and microwave. There is also free and reliable wireless internet / WI-FI up to 8MB / sec. A washing machine is available within the apartment in a small room adjacent to the bathroom (in-suite laundry). A small attic reachable by a ladder from the living room also includes two additional single bed mattresses that may be used for up to two children (preferably above the age of 7). There is ample storage room including 3 large size cabinets in the bedroom. Weekly maid service is offered as part of the weekly rental and daily maid service is available upon request.
There are 10 parking spots downstairs from the building immediately in front the building’s main gate - a car rental is recommended during your stay in Saint Martin. There are an additional 15 parking spots across the street from the building. There are no parking meters (always free parking). Parking is always available after 6:30 pm and is generally available throughout the day. There are 5 car rental agencies located on the Marigot marketplace which is a 3-minute walk from the apartment. They also offer over 30 free parking spots (day and night).
We are also pleased to offer a free and no-obligation concierge service to all our guests for transportation, a variety of activities and reservations during their stay.
The apartment is located in the heart of Marigot, Saint Martin the capital of the French-side of the beautiful island at the intersection of rue Felix Eboue and rue Hotel de Ville, next to the Marigot city hall, across the street from the Saint Martin police and one-minute from Marigot Bay / Boulevard de France.
The building and the apartment are secured with 3 gates (secure code and keys) in the evening and the Saint Martin municipal police station is located across the street.
Guest will receive a 10-page welcome package package at least 4 weeks prior to arrival.
You will be welcomed in person at the apartment on the day of arrival (check-in). Airport pick-up or car rental (recommended during your stay) may be arranged upon request.
A $150 refundable security deposit and $65 cleaning fee will be applied to the 5 night minimum stay. There are no additional or applicable taxes.
Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited.

* Ferry terminal building with direct connections to both Anguilla and St Barths
* Marketplace or "Place du Marché" with many restaurants and bars

* Convenience stores, bakery, fine wines shop, etc.

* Shopping and restaurants
* Post office
The ferry terminal building ("Gare Maritime") is located within a 3-minute walking distance from the apartment. The Voyager High Speed Ferry and Great Bay Express depart from the Gare Maritime and connect Saint Martin and the island of St Barths within 30 to 45 minutes. The ferry to Anguilla island and its 33 pristine beaches also departs from the Gare Maritime.
Fort Louis' Marina ocean front and Marina Royale on the lagoon are also a 3-minute walking distance. The steps to Fort-Saint Louis in Marigot are just 3 minutes away from the apartment.
The beaches of Friar's Bay (3 mile), Grand Case (3.5 mile), Bay Rouge (4 mile), Maho (4 mile), Simpson Bay (4 mile), Mullet Bay (5 mile), Cupecoy (5 mile), Orient Bay (6 mile) and Great Bay (6 mile) are all within a 5- to 15-minute drive (a car rental is recommended during your stay for about $150 per week or less in order to try several of the many different beaches on the island).
Public taxis are available within a 2-minute walk from the apartment. Private taxis are available as well upon request.
Philipsburg and the Dutch-side nightlife entertainment with casinos and nightclubs are a short 10-minute drive.
Princess Juliana Airport (SXM) with international flights to the U.S., Canada, Paris, Amsterdam and 10 other destinations is now only a 10-minute drive since the opening of the new Simpson Bay causeway swing bridge. The taxi fare to Princess Juliana International Airport is around $20. L’Esperance airport in Grand Case (SFG) is reachable in 15 minutes by taxi.
Activities (nearby) include: tennis, swimming, windsurfing, restaurants, shopping, kayaking, sailing, boating, waterskiing, parasailing, jet skiing, scuba diving, surfing, biking, fishing, etc.
Taxi, car rental hub, local buses to Philipsburg and ferry service to Anguilla and St. Barths are available within a 3-minute walk from the apartment. 10-minute drive from Princess Juliana international airport (SXM) and 15-minute drive from l'Espérance airport in Grand Case (SFG) with direct flights to Guadeloupe (Pointe a Pitre), Saint Barths and Martinique (Fort de France).
Overall, the apartment has lots of light. It is ideal for a couple but has enough room for a small family. There are over 50 restaurants and cafes to choose from within a 3- to 10-minute walking distance including many at the Marina Royale (a 3-minute walk from the apartment).
The location is safe with the local police station directly across the street from the apartment. The building and apartment are well secured with 3 gates (secure code and keys).
It is a 3-minute walking distance to the Marigot marketpace and the ferry terminal aka "Gare Maritime", the Saint Martin ferry terminal for daily access to the islands of St. Barths and Anguilla.
It features a free, reliable and fast Internet connection at a robust 8 MB / sec unlike many other places and hotels on the island due to its close proximity to the main Internet telecommunications switch / hub in Saint Martin.
It is conveniently located for groceries, shopping, transportation, etc. and free parking is always available after 7pm directly across the building’s main gate.

I thank you for being such a great host. The apartment was great and all was exactly as described. Donna and I had thoroughly enjoyed the three weeks and met and made friends with allot of wonderful local people. The weather couldn't have been better, but what disappointment to return to snow and now ice storms.

We stayed there for 10 great days in this nice and comfortable apartment without any surprises or drawbacks. We've found a fully equipped kitchen so breakfast or small snacks and cooking is no problem (I had a twinkle in my eyes when i first saw the italian bialetti coffee maker).
I would recommend this accommodation at any time to someone looking for a place in Marigot - great thanks to Alan.
Me and my wife spent the christmas holidays in Marigot and Alans apartment. There is nothing to complain about regarding the apartment, it is situated in the centre of Marigot, close to the harbour (from where you can go to St Barths and Anguilla). I strongly recommend to hire a car to get to other places on the island, the nearest beach is at Nettle Bay which is 4 km (40 min walk).
My only complaint is regarding bath towels, we did only receive one per person and that wasn't enough for 9-10 days. We were told that the guests before us did use a lot more than expected so i'm sure it won't be a problem for future guests.
Alan was very helpful upon arrival, his welcome package stretched out many of our question marks. I strongly recommend this apartment.

I personally rent a car myself every time I go to St. Martin as the public transports are not ideal and the taxis can be expensive. Car rentals are quite cheap on the friendly island (especially if you rent one from the airport). I also thank you for the feedback regarding the towels. The apartment was spacious for its size. Really nice modern decor.
Clean and breezy.
The concierge service was really helpful and an added extra that made it feel like we were getting much more than what we paid for :) there was a good supply of towels and food to start us off.
Location is good on the French side but the traffic is ridiculous ( road work were in progression mind) it's a bit far to walk to phillipsburg. But we are young and managed to walk to some other places like happy bay in 1.5 hours and Simpson bay in about 2.5 hours. Safe part of town straight across from the police station.
We would love to go back to this apartment if we are lucky enough to ne back in beautiful Saint Martin.

As the apartment is in Marigot (on the French-side of the Friendly Island), I agree with you that it is not the ideal location if you plan on spending most of your time in Philipsburg (on the Dutch-side of the island). In regards to traffic, I am asking myself everyday why the local administration has chosen the high season to start these constructions lol ... Great central location especially as we didn't have a car. A few minutes walk took us to the market or to the Marina Royale. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Also taxi stands if we wanted a taxi.
The apartment is a good size and has been renovated to a high standard. Beautiful television, leather sofa and perhaps the best bed we have ever slept on. Linens are of good quality (always important to me).
Dominique was a great concierge, so friendly and helpful. She arranged a boat tour that was the highlight of our trip and told us about an outstanding restaurant that had no reviews called La Fourmi in the West Indies Mall. We also appreciated the welcome package from Alan.
There was some food in the kitchen to start us off. The apartment was very clean and the security was reassuring.

I spent one week in this newly furnished and very nicely decorated apartment in the very centre of Marigot. It is very quiet and comfortable. Alan sent a useful welcome package and was of good assistance if I had any question. Isabelle, who is in charge of the renting of the apartment in St. Martin is having very good advices and she is always available, also you can book trips and renting cars through her.
The apartment is highly recommended!
J'ai passé une semaine dans ce jolie appartement au centre de Marigot. Il est très bien situé, calme et décoré avec du goût.
Alan m'a envoyé un welcome package très utile, avec pleines d'informations et il respondait immédiatement quand j'avais une question.
Sur place, Isabelle est en charge de la location. Elle est toujours joignable et vous propose pleines d'endroits à visiter. C'est d'ailleurs possible de faire des bookings pour des excursions à travers d'elle ou de louer une voiture.
Je peux recommander l'appartement entièrement!
Incroyable séjour à Saint-Martin, l'appartement est extrêmement bien situé, il y a toujours du stationnement et les soirées à la Marina sont féérique. La location d'une voiture permet de visiter l'île en long et en large et en vaut vraiment la peine. Isabelle et Alan sont toujours disponible et facile à rejoindre.
Incredible time in Saint-Martin, the appartment is extremely well located, always easy to find parking and the night at the marina are memorable. Renting a car is recommanded to fully experience the island. Isabelle and Alan are easy to reach and always available.
