Named by CNN among the top ten best wedding venues worldwide, the Château de Varennes sur le Doubs is a luxury estate to hire for holidays, weddings, corporate functions or other special events. Located in the sunny South Eastern part of France amidst the lavender fields and the finest vineyards of Beaune in Burgundy, the property is belonging to the same family for more than 400 years and was recently fully refurbished by a famous designer team. The managing team is bilingual and very helpful.
The space
The Chateau de Varennes was recently renovated with the highest standards (for example the curtains are custom-made with Hermes fabric) and we can also offer the kind of services that you would expect in a modern luxury resort (new beddings and home linens, private chef, airport transfers, concierge services etc.).
Guest access
Indoor facilities : wifi in every part of the house, fully equipped kitchen, tv lounge, refurbished bedrooms (new beddings, new linens and fully refurbished bathroom).
Outdoors : pool (can be heated if necessary), pool house (fridge, cloakroom, WC, shower), pool towels, lounge beds, big BBQ, outdoor tables and chairs on a big terrace with a shade sail to protect you from the sun, kids playground (slide, giant trampoline, swings), organic vegetable patch
The basic rate is for 10 bedrooms and for up to 15 guests. This summer, we are renting out our fully renovated family chateau, which is similar to a luxury villa. With 20 rooms, it is ideal for large families or groups of friends who want to have a good time together.
