Conveniently located, easy to walk to different areas of the city. Large studio apartment 3 stories up. Was a little loud over a highly trafficked street when we stayed on a Saturday night. James was working when we got there but left the keys for us to pick up at the Spar on the corner - could not have been smoother!
The Loft is in a somewhat busy street but on weeknights it was still quiet at night. There are pubs and restaurants right outside the front door. The Liffey is only a few steps down the road and so is the city centre.
The loft itself is very spacious and it was very clean.
We had some difficulties getting into the house because we weren't familiar with the concept of the electronic fob thing but once we got that worked out, everything was fine.
Overall it was a pleasant stay but there is some room for improvement: the bed was a bit old and uncomfortable, so it might be time to get a new mattress.
Although we never met James in person, he was very helpful and always available. The apartment was tidy and clean and in a great location! We had a great time and look forward to visiting Dublin again!
Great location, just north of the river. Easy walk to Temple bar and the city center. We had a great time. The studio apartment had everything we needed. A bit of street noise when staying over the weekend but not too bad.
Overall it was a great experience. A great place to stay if you want to see Dublin on foot.
Location was fantastic and the apartment was very clean and spacious. Bed was adequate.. bathroom was nice and spacious. Apartment has all the necessities. Didn't get to meet James due to our late arrival but he was very accommodating leaving the keys at a nearby location. Had a great stay in Dublin... beautiful city
James was a great host! He was very responsive to messages, offered directions to the apartment, and made special arrangements to get me the keys when he wasn't able to meet me in person. The apartment was great as well. It was clean and is a perfect home base for exploring Dublin. I highly recommend staying here.
