this is what Brttany wrote:Trastevere is a wonderful neighborhood that is in the heart of Rome within walking distance to all of the major sites. The best part is it doesn't feel like you're in a large city. Patritzia has obviously lived in this area as she knew everything about Rome and Trastevere. She walked us around the neighborhood, giving pointers on where to eat or hang out if you're looking for a less touristy atmosphere. She knew restaurant owners by their first names and was able to get us a 10% discount. The apartment is also in a gated courtyard that is very secure. There is a nice patio where we sat every evening and every morning. If you're looking for a great location and a great host that is very kind and knowledgeable, stay at the Trastevere garden lodge.

here what jens wrote: The neighbourhood is also fantastic, with very good restaurants and a magic atmosphere. The Centre of Rome is in a good walking distance. For the three of us it was the best possible place to stay, and we would come back again at any time.

Bon acceuil de la part de Patrizia, qui a pris le temps de nous presenter le quartier et de nous donner quelques conseils de visite. le logement est tres bien situe mais pas tres adapté pour j' sejour à 7 personnes
Patrizia was very welcoming - her son waited for us and took us around the apartment and around the neighborhood.
He explained everything and answered all questions.
Patrizia was fantastic. Quick to respond when we booked, met us at the apartment, showed us around Trastevere and really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Could not have asked for more!
Trastevere is fabulous, but I can see how you could stay in a noisy place. Patrizia's apartment is uniquely quiet, central, and the large court yard was ideal for my 3 boys to play outside, while we sat and drank some wine. Ideal for a family.
We have just come back to England after a fantastic 3 nights at Patrizia's Trastevere Garden Loft. Absolutely brilliant stay! We couldn't have hoped for a more central and well placed location just a few paces from the beautiful Trastevere Piazza and with a magnificent and well priced restaurant just next door. Patrizia was outstanding as a host right from the start. Excellent at replying to contact both before we arrived and once we were there. We were met as planned at the airport, and welcomed into the apartment so warmly by Alexandra who work with Patrizia. She showed us around the area and treated us to ice creams at the Gelateria just round the corner. We were perfectly located for all the central historic sights just over the Tiber from the Circus and Forum etc. The Vatican was just a 25 minute walk along the river. The apartment was great and had a lovely quiet courtyard that is very unusual in such a central spot. We had everything we needed and the air conditioning was great in the hot weather. all very comfortable and lacking nothing we really could have wanted. Highly recommended on every level. We would definitely go back. Thank you Patrizia!
This is a great oasis of peace in the middle of a great neighbourhood. Especially the courtyard (which is very quiet except for a few cars coming and going each day) is great for kids (we put a small pool there). Airconditioning was essential during the summer months and kept the house at a good temperature to sleep in. Lots of privacy.
3 minutes walk from lots of restaurants and a cozy neighbourhood.
Patrizia was incredibly helpful and came over twice to help solve small problems.
It was great staying at your place. A quiet and safe heaven in lively Trastevere! Great if you travel with teenage kids as they have their own separate appartment. We really appreciate your clear explanation of things to do in Rome and in the neighbourhood. It has been very nice meeting you.
All the best!
Patrizia was a great host and very accommodating. The apartment is in an excellent location and nicely appointed for a short stay.
