Perfect location! The TST mtr (it's the subway that pretty much takes you everywhere) is only 5-10 minutes walk away, and in between, there are supermarkets, restaurants and shops within minutes of stepping foot out of the door. Don't miss the alley tucked in between Knutsford Terrace & Observatory Court with amazing bar/restaurants/nightlife that is literally 10 steps away from the apt (but trust me, I didn't hear the bustle & hustle at all when I was sleeping). It's even featured as one of the places to eat in the discover Hong Kong official website!
The place itself was clean, and the maid came twice to clean the place and replenish towels & essentials while we stayed for 10 days, which was sufficient. My only grievance is that there are 8 light switches all right next to each other, and till this day, I still can't figure out which is for what.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few nights so we could be close to the main sites and attractions. I have to say the location was perfect. Central enough yet slightly hidden away so it was quiet. We found it very easy to get around. Flat was big enough for the two of us. It was clean and the assistant who let us in was friendly and helpful. We didn't really use the kitchen facilities as we ate out every night but it was certainly good to have. I remember a few reviews commented about the shower but it was fine for us. Great pressure and just the right temperature.
Only points to mention was the censor for the key card may need fixing as it was tempremental at times. The switch for the light in the bathroom fell off a few times. Finally, the fridge was quiet noisy when we slept. Also, it would be nice to have a dryer as well as a washing machine for the winter months.
Overall though, highly recommended for a comfortable stay!
Great little studio, has all the essentials, close to shopping malls, restaurants and train stations!
The check in was not with Carlson in person. We were greeted by his assistant who is a filipino lady which we can't remember her name.
We were a little worried as we did not receive any reply to our messages upon reaching Hong Kong as we have already informed that we are arriving at 6 am.
We had to wait till 7 am when the telco shop was open to finally get our prepaid card to call her and to confirm. This is quite dissapointing as we paid for the night before we arrive as we know we are checking in early in the morning.
Location was a little hard to find from the drop off point that was recommended.
Apartment was generally clean. Although the couch could have been dusted a bit more.
The building security guard is nice and attentive. He immediately knew who we were and always assisted us with the door to the building.
Location to MTR was easy and near to connecting trains to other lines. Food was accesible and pubs was a stone throw away.
The apartment is in a good location with food and supermarket nearby. Has plenty of room for 2 people to stay. Shower is very good, hot and powerful.
The room was clean and cozy to stay in. There is a.washing machine but no dryer. It would be good if there is a dryer
Our 4 nights stay should provide a towel change every 2days as our towel were not dry on subsequent days. Its well located in.Kimberley area but require a 15mins walk to nearest MRT. If there is too many luggage to travel along with, do note that there is a steep slope to move on to reach this place, so travel light if you want to stay here.
We stayed at the New Deco 450sf Studio in December 2013 for three nights. The studio is easy to reach from the airport and very well located to explore Hongkong. You are able to walk everywhere if you like to discover a city by foot as we do. Check-in and handover of the key worked smoothly. The Wifi works but sometimes you need to be patient or change your position in the apartment for a better connectivity and speed. The apartment offers enough room for two people.
Carlson is a very reliable host. He answered all our emails fast and in detail. We felt well supported. Unfortunately though we never met him personally something that usually made our past experiences with Airbnb very personal and memorable.
Summary: Good place to explore Hongkong.
Nice and clean apartment. Safe with 24/7 security guard.
Perfect location if you want to move around fast. Quiet a climb on the street if you have a lot of luggage. If you travel alone or as a couple, it is a very spacious place to stay.
Great location in TST. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, shopping area and bars. Really convenient to get around and about. The place is not noisy all day long and the studio has a kitchen with basic utensils and a large TV. Will definitely stay again when I revisit HK.
Nice place and convenience location, few blocks always from east side of tst. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by. Recommended, definitely would stay again for my next vs!
