I am renting out a very nice and lumonious flat right in the center of Cihangir. It is located on the main street and has a lovely sea view. It is a characteristic Cihangir flat with high ceilings.
Famous Cihangir restaurants and cafes like smyrna and journey are opposite to the building. Taksim, kabataş ferry, istiklal street and galata are in walking distances. There are 2 bedrooms, one living room, one bathroom with bath tub and a kitchen with all supplies. You can feel like at your home easily.
As you can see on the pictures there is one double bed for two persons and a pull out sofa for the 3rd one.
My flats are residential flats of locals. You are going to feel it. Personal and beautiful. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me. I will be happy to answer all your questions.

I liked the flat - it looks the same as the photos, which are stunning, very good location, lovely and lively area, a lot of things are provided. Host was in touch via phone, helping to resolve small issues, nothing major. One thing to mention is that if you are going in winter - remember to bring some warm clothes. There were several heaters in the apartment, but it's good to know. Also it is second floor without lift and you will have to go uphill if you are walking from Tophane tram station - but a good workout in general :)
We had a lovely time in the apartment, it was very comfortable. Also a nice, not touristic neighbourhood, good restaurants, easy to reach the tram to Sultanahmet and other areas.
She is very kind, helpful and honest and made my staying in Istanbul really wonderful
Great flat in a very nice location with nice cafés and restaurants in immediate vicinity. The restaurant right across the road is highly recommended. We were welcomed by a very friendly host who was very flexible and always reachable and very responsive. The flat is beautiful and had everything it needs. Mini markt conveniently 10 steps away. The flat was clean and Internet worked flawless. We stayed with our twins and the surrounding hills were a bit challenging but manageable. At night it can get a bit noisy but it adds to the atmosphere and we nor the kids were bothered. So to make it brief: We recommend to stay there, 5 out of 5.
Wow! You have to love where this flat is located. It is an easy walk to many neighborhood restaurants. We had planned to cook, but so enjoyed the food, we quickly abandoned that idea. We also walked to the spice market, grand bazzar and Taksim center from the apartment. It is very easy to catch a cab from this location to anywhere in Istanbul. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. That was not a problem for us, you just might want to be aware of that. You will have a nice view of daily life in an upscale neighborhood with street restaurants right below the flat. How fun to watch the people in this cosmopolitan center. The apartment is clean and a nice size for 2 - 4 people with very modest furnishings. A few more chairs in the living room would be nice. Zarifi is the perfect host!!! She will help you with everything. Be sure to contact her while you stay there about any requests you may have to make your stay comfortable. She will respond immediately. The neighborhood is very safe and a fun place to stay. We felt very lucky we stayed here during our Turkey adventure. I highly recommend this place. We love Turkey!!!!
Vary nice flat in a fantastic neighborhood. You feel as at home and Zarifi is very kind. The experience to stay in a real-not touristic place is very recommendable. And the house is 5 minutes walking for the metro station and 15 minutes to Galata Bridge, so you can go walking to the old city.
1/ zarifi is puntual, interactive and flexible
2/ house is clean, cosy and appropriate size.
3/ neighborhood id GREAT: house is surrounded by cozy cafes, a bakery, a barbershop, a pharmacy
4/ Cihangir is charming: antique shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, vintage shops...etc
5/ highly recommended
Really lovely flat in a really lovely part of town with a great host. Highly recommended.
The apartment is in a great neighborhood -- good restaurants all around, not too touristy, interesting shops, close to the tram, and if you are feeling energetic you can walk all the way across the Galata bridge. Be warned though -- this is on a main street in Cihangir, and the noise from the bars outside is quite loud and doesn't stop until about 3 a.m. I slept with the windows shut and ear plugs every night.
The apartment itself is okay. It is an old apartment and could use a few updates, but all in all it's totally fine. My only complaint is the noise from the streets and there is no fan in the apartment -- it was hot!
Other than that, we had a great time. The host was very sweet and even brought us fresh fruit when we arrived.
Flat #10 turned out to be the perfect home base for my two week stay in Istanbul. Located on one of the livliest streets in Cihangir, with a lovely view of the Bosphorus from the balcony, you are across the street from several wonderful restaurants and cafes. Coffee shops are in abundance. A five minute walk takes you to Van's for their famous Turkish breakfast. Continue further down the hill and you reach the tram, which will take you to Sultanahmet. You really get the experience of staying in an authentic Turkish neighborhood. (oh, and yes, the Christmas tree is up in June :-) Zarifi was a lovely host who took the time to show me around the neighborhood, as well as escort me to Taksim square to catch the airport bus upon my departure. I would highly recommend both the flat and the host to anyone planning to visit Istanbul!
