Carpinteria is our home away from home...without the home, but now that we have found the "Downtown Hideaway" we'll always have a home to come back to. It was the perfect size for three people. I am pretty weird about things being clean and the home did not disappoint. No errant dust balls hidden anywhere. AND...they allowed us to bring our cat.
Things to note if you are sensitive to noise:
-There is a vet next door, so at times there was a howling dog or two.
-The train comes by periodically.
The only "issue" is that the WiFi was temperamental, other than that we had a great visit and will definitely be back again and again.
Great location in Carpinteria. A few blocks from the beach. The place was very clean and well furnished with a modern kitchen plenty of televisions.
The apartment was fantastic - clean and well-designed. We loved being able to park in a garage space, the uber-comfortable beds, having a bathroom in each room, and the three flat-screen TVs we used to watch the Women's World Cup and a James Bond marathon. The location was also great and within walking distance to a bunch of good restaurants and cafes.
The only constructive criticism I would give is with regard to the wireless Internet, which constantly cut in and out. Totally fine if you're trying to disconnect from your devices during a weekend getaway, but my friends and I all had to work remotely and couldn't reliably use the Internet.
It was a great stay. Excellent location, prompt replies from our host and an incredibly easy arrival / departure process! Would definitely stay again!
I was very please with this condo. It is in a very quiet neighborhood which was one of the primary requirements. We were there on business.
The accommodation was just as pictured, very comfortable, bright and clean, and situated in a great location - close to downtown Carpinteria (amazing shops and food), the beachfront, and a quick drive up to downtown Santa Barbara.
All-inclusive information was provided prior to check in, and ease of use to access the property with key code was great so no key was needed. Always a plus!
The property was right off the freeway, and parking was plentiful. The property is located in a very central area, but in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood.
The apartment was very clean and in an excellent location. Very near the beach and Linden street shops/restaurants.
