My 2 friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. The apartment is as described, located about 2-3 blocks from the Sygrou-Fix metro stop. The apartment is a 1 flight walk up from the ground floor and the window faces a courtyard between the buildings, so rather quiet and away from the street. Two of us shared the double bed shown in the photos, and Katia provided us with a 3rd small futon bed (somewhat narrower than a twin) in the kitchen sitting area, opposite from the cooking area, which was perfect since we weren't eating at the apartment anyway. There was more than plenty of space to keep our luggage and hang up a few things.
The bathroom was small and the shower is open so there will be water on the ground by the toilet and sink. If this might bother you, bring some flip flops. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed including a good hair dryer! Katia provided us each with a set of bath and hand towels, plus a bathmat to wipe our feet outside the bathroom. The blankets and bed linens were comfortable, and Katia gave us some extra blankets which we did not need to us. We used the electric heater briefly just before sleeping and it worked great. The curtains offered us privacy and some dim lit mornings for us which was nice getting over jet lag.
Katia was great - very quick and clear responses to all of our questions and met us on time at the apartment. We easily found the apartment through the (website hidden) maps link Katia provided us, and we had a breeze walking around the neighborhood which is exactly as described - a few minutes easy walk to the Acropolis museum and Plaka. Tons of restaurants and bars a few blocks away - our advice on dinner for Saturday night - make a reservation for SURE because everywhere gets booked up.
I would stay here again - definitely a safe, quiet location. It may be small for 3 adults who are planning to stay longer than a couple of days, but the place is very clean and cozy, which is a huge comfort while traveling.
Katia was really flexible and friendly. The apartment is really well located an easy walk from the acropolis. The apartment itself was exactly what I was looking for safe, simple and clean.
Thanks to Katia for recommending a great local restaurant!

It will be convenient for those who have whether early arrivals or late depatures as situated just in 5 minutes walking from metro station which has direct trains to/from airport.

We had a very nice stay at Katia's apartment and we highly reccommend it for you!
This was my last trip before departing Europe and it couldn't have been better. Katia has no problem with me booking this trip as a last minute and she was kind to even pick me up from the airport. Katia's apartment was perfect! it had everything needed for a short and comfortable stay. Within walking distance to everything, I was able to see all tourist attractions Athens has to offer. Katia even picked me up from the apartment and took me back to the airport at 4:30 am.. Perfect host, perfect apartment, perfect location!
The place is pretty nice, quite small if your more than 2. For a copple its perfect. Have a really good location. It clean, have everything you need and Katia is really nice and helpfully, She give us a lot of good information and also came with us for a walk.
We recomend Katia´s apartment.
Katia was a great host. Very helpful and accomodating. She came to open the room for me with only an hours notice!
The place was also very nice and cozy. It had everything you need for a short stay in Athens. And the location was excellent. Walking distance to all of the sights and nightlife of Plaka.
Nice weather, delicious food, majestic ancient monuments and hospitable people - this is how I saw Athens in my first visit here. For a complete happiness I lacked only place where to stay and someone to ask for advice on where to go and what to see in the city. Katia become the person who easily solved both of these questions for me! =)
Katia owns several apartments in Athens. I stayed in two of them and was very pleased. Cozy studios in the heart of Athens, just a ten minute leisurely walk from the Acropolis and the hill Filopopolu. Both apartments are very clean and bright. Inside there is anything you can need on vacation - small kitchen, hot shower, cozy bed and the wireless Internet. = ) In addition to this in Athensstay Acropolis view 2p, you have access to the roof where you can enjoy your breakfast at a small table , you can have breakfast at a small table while enjoying the amazing view of the Acropolis, the Philopappos hill and the mount Lycabettus.
Katia's apartments themselves are undoubtedly great, but more importantly, what makes the stay there so enjoyable is the friendliness and affability of Katia herself. She not only helped me with accommodation, but also provided a hospitable care during the entire time of my stay in Athens. Immediately after arrival Katia gave me a walk around the neighborhood with an overview of interesting places: here is an interesting museum to visit, and there is very tasty pastries which can be taken for breakfast, that's shop where you can buy all the necessary stuff and from there at the evening you'll get a wonderful view of the city. To any of my questions - buses schedule, where to go in the evening, where to buy some souvenirs Katia had a quick and perfect the answer. Most of all I liked that this care is not perceived as the fulfillment of the contract, but as friendly disposition of someone who you know for an long long time (despite the fact that I met Kate for the first time). Katia is not just responsible professional, but also a person who loves what she is doing!
I am very happy with my acquaintance with Kate and would gladly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Greece.
Efharisto poli, Katia!!! =)
The apartment is very nice and (website hidden) is all you need for spending a few days in Athens. Centrally located (between Syngrou-Fix and Akropoli Metro Station). Close to Syngrou-Fix metro station, there is a nice restaurant called Ambrosia. The food is very good.
Katia can also help you with transfer from/to the airport. She is a very nice host. Thank you Katia!
