I have a large 2-story house with 2 full bedrooms (each with a queen-sized bed), 2 bathrooms, and a roomy living room, kitchen, and office. For groups larger than 4, I also have a queen-sized air mattress and a very comfy couch! I am willing to make the full house available, or simply 1 bedroom at a time... contact me to talk details...
Located in the very heart of historic Abingdon, in a quiet cul-de-sac neighborhood... there is plenty of street parking... you will be within walking distance of Abingdon's Main Street and its attractions (Barter Theatre, Virginia Creeper Trail, various historic landmarks, restaurants, bars, coffee shop, etc.) and 5-7 minutes from the I-81 highway. Beautiful Abingdon is located in SW Virginia, 15-20 minutes from the VA-TN border (Bristol), and about 30 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway.
My home also has a very large backyard with a small deck, patio, gas grill, hammock, shady trees, and firepit. The yard is fenced, and if you have children or a well-behaved dog (or dogs) you'd like to bring with you, this may be a great fit! Please note: I do have a medium-sized chocolate lab mix dog of my own... she gets along great with people and other dogs.
Other amenities include: washer/dryer, dishwasher, satellite television (with HBO), wireless internet, gas stove, gas fireplace, and centralized heat and air conditioning.
Hannah was very accommodating and made everything so easy. We had access to all the comforts and conveniences of her home, which made our stay feel very much like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend staying with here!
Ok, so Hannah is awesome! Easy going, accommodating, always available to respond to any questions you might have. Her dog Leelah is the sweetest ever. House is great, and location is a few minutes from 81, which was what we needed to easily continue our trip the next morning. Oh and again Hannah is awesome!
Everything was clean and as advertised. Hannah was very nice and accommodating. Beautiful home in a great town. I highly recommend staying here if ever in the area. You will not be disappointed.
My dad and I stayed at Hannah's home for 5 days and it was a great experience. The house is adorable and comfortable with a great backyard! Hannah was easy to contact before and during the trip, and all the information about the house was provided in a way that made everything very easy.
Hannah's place is very inviting and charming! The set up is perfect if you're traveling with pets. The downstairs master is tile floors with a patio leading to a huge fenced in yard. After an 8 hour drive, my dog really appreciated this feature. The upstairs bedroom/bathroom was great as well. The house is perfect for 4 people + pet.
It's also very close to lots of Abingdon's attractions. We went to Trail Cafe, Main Street's antique shops, and an operational mill from the 1790s, all within minutes of the house.
Hannah is also great about staying in contact in case you need anything. I was able to text her with questions and always got a quick response.
