The Space

Located in the heart of the Financial District, in the gourmet paradise known as Belden Lane, lies the entrance to two new studio units. Both studios are a mix of contemporary industrial design and Victorian era industrial construction. 20 foot ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, time-worn brick walls, bright hardwood floors, and modern bathrooms create a unique living environment. Each unit has a shower over tub, custom sink and custom bathroom fixtures. There is a roof top patio overlooking Belden Lane and the buildings in the Financial District.

This small studio has a queen size Murphy bed, twin size sleeper sofa and expandable dining room table. Efficiency kitchen has a George Foreman Grill, Microwave, Convection Toaster Oven and electric frying pan – everything you need to make small meals! No pets. No smoking. 4 NIGHT MINIMUM

  • We had a wonderful time at Gino’s Cozy Getaway. We stayed for a long weekend over Mother’s Day. The studio was very clean and felt safe. There is a fairly large closet and shelving units for clothing and shelving in bathroom for all your products. Just a shower, no bathtub. We enjoyed people-watching from our windows. It was a bit noisy if you are not used to the city. We had a white noise machine and were so tired from our excursions that it wasn’t a problem. The windows seem new and when closed, block out a lot of noise. You exit and enter through a restaurant alley called Belden Place. Very unique and we had dinner at B44 one evening. We were there to visit our son, and when he arrived every morning there is a doorbell and camera at the back door. All you have to do is press the “unlock” button and they can enter through the locked door. That is a nice feature. Close to all kinds of transportation. We were shown the apartment by Pat and met Mario a day or two later. Very nice people.

Cons: Lots of steps. Loveseat/sofa bed is more like a fold out foam chair-bed. But we weren’t in the room that much.

We had a great time and would stay there again!

  • It's an awesome place. Bed is super comfy. Has everything you need basically. Furniture, TV, silverware, towels, closet, pans, pots, George Foreman, one of those tabletop stove things, bottle opener, cork screw, fridge, microwave. Yea, staying here for 3 months and haven't had to buy a single thing for the house besides a surge supressor which I'll probably leave here for you. The whole process went very very well. It's pretty expensive, but yea, you get what you pay for. A+++ would stay again!!

  • I had a great stay at Gino's Cozy Getaway.
Before I got into the details - the absolute BEST thing about this place is the location - walking distance from pretty much everything, and the door of the building opens onto a lane that is crammed with excellent restaurants. So practical!
Annette was very friendly - I had a few unique requests and she was ultra accommodating. If you check in after the store downstairs closes, you will need to get your key from a lock-box. I found this to be quite easy to open, yet nearly impossible to close. This caused a bit of a hiccup but again nothing serious.
The room itself is small and basic - I would not try fitting more than 2 people in there - but it is clean and warm and it certainly does the trick. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs - the street can be pretty noisy.
Fresh towels are left out but be sure to bring your own soap & shampoo.
Thanks Annette and team for hosting me for my great week in San Fran!

  • Absolutely great location with plenty of dining and bars within a couple blocks; easy access to the BART and the MUNI.

The condo was clean and modern, and that hosts were helpful.

  • Checking in and out went smoothly. You can't beat the location; there are tons of restaurants really close by. Also Gino helped us out a few times during the trip and was a great host.

  • Was in need of a last minute stay and Annette came through bigtime. I had a wonderful experience at Gino's cozy getaway. Right in the heart of the financial district, you have plenty of options for a late night bite or drink. The next time I head to San Fran, I will be reaching out again! Very quick and prompt responses even to dumb questions like if they had an iron. If you are just looking for a nice place to lay your head down while exploring the city, I Highly Recommend! Gino was also a very courteous host!
