Interaction with Guests
The sweet Picfair neighborhood is a Los Angeles Gem. Great restaurants, including the Famous Sky's Tacos and Bloom are walking distance and the Grove and Farmers Market are a mile up the road.
Easy Train and Bus Access, but the location is central to Hollywood, West Hollywood and the Beaches.
My husband, 16 year old son and I are from Australia and absolutely loved John's house.
It is spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. We especially loved the front garden and BBQ which we used. The large hammock was perfect for star gazing at night, and relaxing during the day.
The house is very central to all the major tourist spots in LA, including Beverley Hills.
The beds and pillows are very comfortable, making a good night's sleep every night.
We loved the full size fridge and freezer, and that the pantry was stocked with sugar, tea and coffee as well as other basic grocery items. During our stay we had surplus items, which we contributed to the pantry.
The bathrooms are spacious and well stocked with fresh towels, liquid soap and moisturizer.
I loved the selection of books to read during our stay and the washing machine was great to use.
The key delivery system is perfect!
We would highly recommend John's place to stay, and we will definately stay again. John's house is a home away from home with positive energy and a warm loving feel about it.
The house is indeed a gem: very cosy, with a wonderful garden. All the info on the site proved to be correct. And by means of text messages Lindsay proved to be a perfect host. We had a great time in LA, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this place.
We had a wonderful time at this home away from home. Lindsay kindly welcomed us at the Spanish Gem to walk us through, give us the rundown of the amenities, and to make sure that all was secure for our little Chihuahua's safety. The place is truly beautiful and cozy...it was hard to leave to go to my conference!
We stayed at John's and Lindsay's home for 8 days. It was a great experiernce. The house is clean , spacious, and very well located. The garden is beautiful. If I rent again in Los Angeles I wll call them back for sure
John was a great host. Such a wonderful house and perfect location for my parents while they were visiting from out of town.
We had a family get together to visit my sister, who lives in the area but didn't have room to put us all up, and this place proved to be a fantastic and cost-effective alternative to the hotels in the area. The front yard and patio have a feeling of seclusion despite the location and are quite serene. Beds were super-comfy, and the coffee station was a nice touch - good way to start the day after a solid night's rest. We spent most of the days (and nights) out and about, but were very happy to have found this spot.
