We offer a warm fireside in the winter and in the spring a wild flora extravaganza. You’ll love this place because of the outdoor space and the comfy cozy cabin. The retreat is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: nature walks, interactions with our animals, birdwatching, star gazing, camp fires and in the spring a wild flora extravaganza. These activities are suited for all age groups.

The space
KNOTTY PINE CABIN was completed in 2013 it was named for its knotty pine walls. It's tranquility and peaceful surroundings are a hallmark of its quaint and customized structure. The master bedroom is large enough for a his and her closet along with a queen sized bed and a writing desk. The living room has a decorative western flair. Both couches make into two comfortable beds. The kitchen was custom designed by an enthusiastic cook who wanted plenty of counter space with a built in butcher block. All appliances including a full capacity washer and dryer, are new and adequate for an extended stay.

CIRCLE OF THE OAKS RETREAT is situated on 43 acres overlooking a family ranch along with some picturesque views of mountains and hilltops. Circle of the Oaks Road takes you on a walking tour of the ranch viewing wild flowers, a barn, chicken coop, vegetable garden, and workshop. Among some of nature's sights you will see two ponds that is often a refuge for ducks and birds of this region. You will also observe, with the option to participate, in how we feed and manage our sheep, goats and chickens.

Downtown Mariposa is a 15 minute drive from our ranch you will find that it is a unique town that is dotted with a variety of gift shops, restaurants, and a visitor center. Pioneer market is the main grocery store with a USPS just steps away. There are several service stations to choose from. The bus service to Yosemite is Yarts. Yosemite is approximately 40 miles from the cabin. Throughout the year Mariposa has many events which include an annual fair.

We are a husband and wife team living our dream on our 43 acre ranch. Our favorite things include entertaining our friends and family, taking care of our horses, goats, and dogs. When people ask us where our favorite get away is we say we live at our get away everyday. We enjoy watching others relax and enjoy our ranch.
