This was our first Airbnb experience and it was great. Wendy and her dog, Dexter, welcomed us and made us feel at home. The bedroom was great, and the bathroom was huge and exceptionally clean. The location was very close to downtown, a quick 10 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in London.
This is my second time with Wendy. She's a wonderful and accommodating host and her place is lovely. I highly recommend Wendy's place for your stay in London!
5/5 stars. I've stayed at real bed and breakfasts, and this is one of them! Wendy is amazing and her place is spotless! There is a newly remodeled bathroom, the bed is super comfy, and the decor is charming. This is a very restful spot, I found Wendy's accommodating spirit warm and relaxing after a long road trip. I wouldn't hesitate to return here.
Wendy is a wonderful host, and made me feel very welcome, as did her adorable, friendly and well-manner dog, Dexter. (He enjoys a good play, and so did I.) The bedroom is very comfortable, (super comfortable bed) with everything I needed to make my stay a pleasant one, including a fabulous private bathroom, coffee, tea and more. I wanted to work out during my stay in London, and Wendy suggested a local gym, and provided a yoga mat, and water bottle to boot. Wendy's approach is laid-back (non-intrusive), friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
My stay at Wendy's was perfect. From the time I enquire about the room until we checked out, Wendy was friendly, on-time and efficient.
I had to change my reservations a few times but Wendy changed it as soon as possible. When we arrive at her house, Wendy, along with his smart dog, Dexter, gave us a warm welcome. During our stay, Wendy made sure that we are comfortable and we get what we need. She even set up the hot tub when we requested for it even if it was freezing cold outside! The pictures online are accurate and the place is very clean. Finally, even after, our stay when I tried to contact Wendy about my lost watch, she replied right away!
If I had to stay in London again, I will definitely stay at her place. I'd definitely recommend staying at Wendy's to everyone who visit London. Not only it's close to everything, Wendy is also friendly and hospitable.
Wendy was home when I arrived; I felt welcome right away. Beautiful bedroom, comfy bed, little amenities (water jug and glass, granola bars and tangerines, a printed map showing the route to my destination, robe in cupboard - great, because I had left mine behind!). All as advertised. Fabulous private bathroom. Fab-u-lous. Cute neighbourhood. Walked to downtown...pretty, along the river. Very pleased. I would stay here again, and I would highly recommend it to others. This was my first air bnb experience, I am happy it was so positive.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
I am a mom of two grown children and a cute, friendly little non-shedding dog named Dexter. The kids have left the nest and I now have a spare private room in my cozy Ontario cottage close to downtown London, the Thames River, great bike/hiking paths and not far from the University of Western Ontario. I love to travel as well and have picked up some hospitality ideas along the way!
