About this listing
This cottage has been a year around respite for couples in the Pacific Northwest for many year and now in 2017 we have added some new features that make it perhaps one of the most amazing rest, relaxation and recharging experiences in the world. We have added one of our 'signature' solarium bathrooms with an antique clawfoot tub. We have also upgraded the main floor with new radiant heated hardwood floors.
Imagine a cottage so beautiful that you feel like you have found a little slice of heaven. Now add in a grove of magnificent cedars as your landscape. For sounds only the occasional screech of an eagle as it soars high over head or perhaps the soothing rustle of the wind through the cedars. Relax around a cozy gas fireplace and recharge. Your next door neighbor is a 250 acre park with walking trails leading down to one mile of secluded pacific beach. Check out the pictures. The cottage is in Point Roberts also known as South Tsawwassen BC. Although we are in the US, we are closer to downtown Vancouver BC than most of the suburbs. And now you can even have a special shopping day in the new 600 million mall the is only 15 minutes drive (featuring Can$ prices). Treat yourself and someone you love to the ultimate couples getaway. The location is world class. The first thing you notice when arrive is the sound. You know right away that you are someplace special. I am a big believer in the concept of 'sacred spaces'. The 'big' cottage is a good example of that. I believe that the space we inhabit has a huge effect on our 'present' and consequently our 'future'.
I just finished work on another cottage at Lily Point that further refines the concept of using space to create intimacy and well being.
