  • Had an excellent stay, everything was perfect and host was kind. Good location, doesn't feel like you're so close to LA, very calm and beautiful neighborhood.

  • We very much enjoyed our stay at Lesley's suite. Lesley was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Everything was exactly as pictured and reviewed previously. The suite was very clean, neat and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, friendly and close to good restaurants and shopping. A bonus in LA is to have easy parking and it couldn't have been better at Lesley's!! We would definitely stay again.

  • This is a beautiful space in a quiet neighborhood but convenient to everything. Just as pictured. I was able to walk to grocery store and bank. Venice beach is a short drive or bus ride. There was a coffee pot, microwave, small refrigerator and TV w/cable access.

  • The suite was very quiet and only a few blocks away from the beach and the lively Abbot Kinney Bld. Parking was easy and free.
Lesley is a nice and helpful host and the suite was clean, full of light with a very large and confortable bed. We really had a great time there and would recommend this place !

  • This place is beautiful, quiet, and in immaculate condition. Lots of space, very comfy bed. The neighborhood is lovely, safe, and relaxing. Lesley was always ready to help and responded to all our questions promptly. Thank you!

    February 2014
  • Location: Lesley's house is very easy to get to from LAX. It's close to a mall called Waterside Mall where we enjoyed the sandwiches at Mendocino Farms. Also close to beautiful Venice Canal and Santa Monica pier. Parking is free and effortless. No stairs to climb, which is great when you have heavy suitcases. The neighborhood is also really quiet. Room: The bed is my favorite part of the room. The linen is clean and the mattress is really comfortable and gave me good night sleep. The only thing I have concern is that the window curtain/blinds in the living room area does not have the entire coverage. And since the property is on the ground floor, there is a little privacy insecurity feeling for me. Overall, it's a nice place with super easy check-in and check-out, and also good quality of stay.

Hello Dear Guest! I am a licensed clinical social worker and area realtor. I am also degreed in hotel and restaurant management. Being an innkeeper comes naturally to me. Born and raised on the east coast, I have lived out here for over 25 years..I still have family there, so I go back often. In my heart, I have two places I call home. My travels have taken me to many interesting places, where I've met a great variety of people and experienced the uniqueness of their cultures. As a therapist, I love to meet new people and welcome them to my area. I know California well and am very established in Los Angeles. I also appreciate the hesitations and considerations of the traveller, which is why my knowledge as a local host is so useful. I am always available for suggestions or problem solving, and unlike a hotel, it's nice to know that someone has their eye out for you when you're away from home.
