I'm available to answer any questions or help you during your stay......
The suite is a few streets from Marina Del Rey and only 1 mile from the water. Beaches are about 3 miles west of the suite.
The sunsets, the location, the beachy (URL HIDDEN) corner lot property has an expansive view of the western sky.......
Abbot Kinney is a short drive and is on fire with shops and eateries. The Marina Marketplace is a short walk; with a dine-in theater and great shops and eateries.....
I love having (URL HIDDEN) innkeeper by trade....this place is comfortable and inviting, and the sunsets are spectacular.
Bus lines everywhere, to everywhere. Not needed though, as you can walk to almost everything.....
Parking is free and plentiful. No need to move your car for street cleaning! This is important because the fines can be pricey in Los Angeles......
Other Things to Note
The Suite is a serene place to come back to after a full day of activities....Safe to walk around, with a real neighborhood vibe.
Because it is at the beach there are always sea breezes, so there is no A/C. Temperatures in the Marina area of Los Angeles are pretty consistently mid 60's at night and mid to high 70's in the spring and winter, with summer temps consistently in the 80's. There are fans in the suite when needed.
Garbage bins are on the other side of the garage. Blue for recycling and black for trash. Please use the appropriate bins for refuse.
Please be sure to close the wooden gate to the suite when you come and go.
The sliding glass door has a wooden pole that can be put in place for security, while still allowing the door to be open slightly. The window also has the same thing. Most guests don't use it, but it is there if desired. Always lock the suite when you are away.
Airbnb is an interesting hybrid. It's not a hotel and it's not a bed and breakfast. I provide: Tea, cocoa, dry snacks, sweeteners, paper plates and plastic utensils. The linens are changed for every new guest and the suite is thoroughly cleaned for each new reservation.
Sometimes guests will leave behind unopened beverages or snacks - Please use those items at your own discretion.
Please read the guest book when you arrive. It has useful information for your stay.
One night stays, additional guests and pets are a higher rate. Please inquire PRIOR to booking. One night stays are $50 more. $20 is added to the cleaning fee for pets. Additional guests (parties of 3 or more) are $50.00 more per night, per guest.
The person booking the suite MUST be the guest. It is not permitted to book for another person.
PARKING: A spot directly in front of the suite is available if it is not taken. There should be no other car in front of you. If possible, Please ONLY park there during your stay. If you have guests, please have them park in front or on the side of my house ONLY. DO NOT park in front of the main garage at any time or you risk a ticket. Park your car in the direction of traffic at all times.
Upon arrival and departure, please unload all luggage on the Hager Avenue side of my house where the suite is located.
Please be mindful and respectful of the neighbors.... The neighborhood is serene and I live on the premises. Please keep noise to a minimum and refrain from entertaining or holding gatherings in the Suite.
Always let me know if the temperature in the suite is not to your liking DURING your stay......
Please use only the closet to hang things. Please do not hang ANYTHING from the shower door.
Please keep the outside gate closed at all times and be sure it is latched when you leave.
No Smoking of any kind. No drugs or illegal activities.
Lost keys require re-keying of suite - for the protection of my guests, I must charge $75.00 for this service.
For Pet Owners: Host must be informed of a pet companion prior to booking. An additional pet cleaning fee of $20 is added to the bill for a deeper cleaning; which is required for the next guest.
I love pets! I have dogs myself. They must have their rabies shots and be current with flea meds. I ask that they be kept off the furniture and taken with you when you are gone. Pets are not to be left in the suite unattended.
Animals can become frightened in unfamiliar surroundings....
While in California, please be careful about leaving pets in cars in the daytime. Outside breezes can be deceptive, the sun in Los Angeles is very hot, even in the wintertime.
I reserve the right to enter the suite during your stay, but only if necessary.
Please communicate with me if you have any questions or concerns DURING your stay!
Hello Dear Guest!
As an area realtor, I know the neighborhood well. Building relationships is important to me and having lived in Los Angeles for over 25 years, I have lots of friends and business associates. With ties to the east coast, I have two places I call home.
My travels have taken me to many interesting places, where I've met a great variety of people and experienced the uniqueness of their cultures. I love to meet new people and welcome them to my area.
Having travelled extensively, I know the value of comfortable, safe lodging. With my knowledge of the area, I'm able to direct guests to the best that Los Angeles can offer. It 's nice to know that someone has their eye out for you when you're away from home.
