Cozy and silent place in the heart of Venice, just in front of the train station Santa Lucia and at 2 minutes fron the bus station Piazzale Roma.
To Have a location close to the bus station or train station, not to be understimated in this city full of bridges and with few means of transport.
This is an area still far from the frenetic tourism, fortunatly, even if it is just a few steps from the train (website hidden) apartment consists of a room, a small kitchena and a bathroom.
You are two minutes walking from a water bus stop, and you can go across the entire channel till San Mark square seeing all the beautiful Venetian palaces in a different perspective of Venice.
If you want you can walk to the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco, it is just 20 minutes, i suggest you not to follow the people, lost in Venice allows you to discover places that otherwise you could never see.
Linens and towels are provided, small breakfast included in price.
I prefer easy-going people in my place!!!

This apartment was perfectly fine. It was on level ground as I inquired about however, it was on the other side of the canal with a large bridge of stairs to climb up and over or pay someone else 5 euro per bag to carry it across for you. Maurice was very pleasant and made restaurant suggestions. He immediately called his wife to assist us in locating the Doge's Palace when language needed a better translation. His smile was infectious. Very close to the train station so you were not lugging you bags for a long distance.
We stayed at the Cozy Habana only few nights and our stay was wonderful! The flat is located very very close to the train station, you can't really feel the crowds of people which I loved personally. Maurice and his wife made us very welcome with their big smiles, something that can really make your day sometimes. Very friendly and with a good vibe around. They recommended good places to eat out/hang out as well. Great people, great stay, hope to come back, greetings from Rome:)
Very convenient location, but no hairdryer, no left luggage even promised.
To be frank, it is not joyful to write a bad comment to anyone.
The first problem is that there is no hairdryer. I think it should be a basic equipment. Also, the room is smelly and some flies around.
The most serious issue, I had communicated with the host via Airbnb messages for my request on left luggage after check out (11pm), as our train departed at 16:25. His answer was “of course! :)” during booking. However, he said it was impossible to do it when we arrived Venice.
After negotiation, the compromise was “Left luggage before 2pm”, but it was not helpful in our walking itinerary. As a result, we had to make use of paid Left Luggage services in Venice Train Station, at the extra cost of EUR12…
In fact, there are some advantages. For example, the apartment location is convenient and close to Train Station.
First all all you left the apartment dirty, towels in the floor all the dishes dirty, remember you that when you book with airbnb you dont book an hotel.
You can pretend to find all the comfort, but if you need something i'm always ready to give you and help you.
If you want the hair dryer just ask and you would had it.
As concern the check out i told that day i had to work and i just permit you to leave the luggages till 2pm instead of 4pm becouse work problem, but you decide to take your luggages with you at the train station.
I gave you the possibility but you didint accept.
The check out usually is a t 10am.
The apartment it was just cleaned so it is not possible all that "smelly".
We stayed a night at Maurice's and we couldn't have asked for a better location. It's just across the bridge from the Santa Lucia station. It's a great base for us to explore Venice on foot.
The perfect base to discover Venice!
Maurice was waiting for us at the right time of our arrival, and after the check out he gave us the opportunity to leave our bags in the house. The house is exactly what 2 persons need to enjoy the city (there is also a third bed). Everything was absolutely clean, and towels and bed linen are provided. You will find also a nice breakfast. A good choice, recommended!
Accoglienza molto simpatica da parte di Maurice e molto disponibile, c'aspettava nell'appartamento fin dal nostro arrivo a Venezia. L'appartamento è molto molto situato all'entrata della città, grazie Maurice.
I hope this traduction is correct.
Maurice was awesome. He set up everything perfectly for us.
I loved the place. it was quiet (a little cold), and cozy
The double bed is not a double bed, but two singles joined together, which could be a bother for some couples. but it was comfortable.
thanks for everything maurice!!
next time in venice, ill hit you up again!
L'appartamento è vicinissimo alla stazione ferroviaria, quindi molto comodo. E' un monolocale quindi è l'essenziale per passare dei giorni a Venezia, ma per due persone va (website hidden) siamo trovati molto bene.
Maurice is very friendly and kind. Although his English was not so great, he had his lovely wife at hand to help- they both recommended some lovely places to visit, and great local tips!
The room was simple and perfect for what we needed. Hot water, towels a comfy bed and a little kitchenette was ideal!
Thanks so much for everything! Venice is an amazing place and Maurice helped make our experience even more wonderful :)
