The apartment was as represented, and left in great condition for our stay. Jenny was really helpful, and answered all questions that made our stay there seamless. Everything we needed was available, and easy to use. I will definitely consider staying there again!
Beautiful home! Our stay was exceptionally comfortable with all amenties as described on the listing. I highly recommend Jeny's home as "your home away from home."
We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was super comfortable and met all our needs. Being so close to the train stop (a 5-7 minute walk) was really helpful and the quiet neighborhood offered a nice place to take our evening walk (lots of families pushing strollers, kids riding bikes, people jogging, etc). If you’re looking for a quaint place conveniently close to so much of what Austin has to offer, you can’t go wrong with this house.
The house was very clean and cozy with really comfortable beds and bed sheets. There were six of us staying at the house sharing the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and it worked out perfectly. Jenny was very responsive to all of our questions before we got there and we appreciate that she provided certain basic necessities to get us settled in. The location of the house was indeed conveniently located near restaurants, downtown and airport (everything we need seemed to be about 15-20 minutes car drive away), but the only thing we did not realize until we started jogging around the next morning is that the neighborhood did not feel 100% safe. We were obviously fine inside the house and when we were driving around but not a place we would necessarily walk around on our own. Otherwise, everything was great and we had a very memorable trip in Austin!
Our family enjoyed our visit to Austin and our stay in the Margrave's home. The house is well-equipped, clean and conveniently located less than 15 minutes from downtown. Jenny was a pleasure to deal with - clear and responsive to communications. A "Welcome to Our Home" book provided simple instructions, and recommendations for local markets, coffee house, restaurants, etc. The entire transaction went smoothly - thank you Jenny!
House was awesome, good location!!! Host was helpful and quick to respond to any question we had, would definitely stay here again!!!
The Margrave House was exactly what I expected. The location and the house is what we needed for entertaining in Austin with family at Thanksgiving. Plenty of room for the six adults and additional family visitors. Jenny was easy to contact and quick to respond. Would definitely book this house again if the time was right.
I love woodworking, swimming, reading, and playing. Chris teaches writing at Texas State University. We live in Austin, Texas and love it here. We seem to somehow travel quite a bit these days. We love having people stay at our home and getting to know new people from around the world. When we visit new places we like to find the local scene as much as the tourist attractions.
