Located in Central Austin, and a SHORT walk to the Metro Rail which drops you off in the center of downtown, our home is an updated 4 bedroom/2 bath home.
The patio area provides a great place to enjoy the Austin evening breezes and enjoy a nice chat while grilling dinner. A wooden swing set provides opportunity for play at the back of the yard. Or, if you prefer the front, enjoy sitting in 50's style bright red metal lawn chairs on the front porch.
Bedroom #1 Separated from the other three bedrooms, the large master bedroom is off the living room and includes a comfy King bed plus huge windows that overlook the covered garden patio.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed. There is an office desk and ceiling fan and quiet and dark for a great night of sleep.
Bedroom #3 has a Full bed and the soft yellow walls are soothing for the soul! There is a trundle that can be pulled out for another person.
Bedroom #4 has a new queen bed This is the second largest room in the house with desk and huge window.
The last sleeping spot is a queen sleeper sofa in the den.* This is new and is now substituted for the brown sofa pictured.
The second bath has a garden whirlpool tub, great for a long soak at the end of a busy day!
A large laundry room is also available for your use.
There is adequate parking in our double drive way as well as on the street.
Our home provides a respite from the noisy fun of local concerts and nightlife but is close enough to the lively downtown area that you'll experience the best of both worlds!
Interaction with Guests
We would love to meet you if possible and introduce you to the house and then leave you to enjoy a fabulous stay while being available for any questions!
Our neighborhood is a little hidden spot in the heart of Austin.
Our place is at a major transportation hub so getting around by public transportation is really easy.

For our homeowner insurance to cover anything that happens we must have a signed copy of a lease agreement. We will send an electronic copy to sign before check in.
The premises are rented fully furnished and include: appliances and complete kitchen, full-sized washer and dryer, linens, air conditioner, etc.
Term of Lease: The lease shall begin 3 pm on date, 2015 and end at 11 am on date, 2015.
Full lease amount is due 14 days prior to occupancy. CHECK-IN TIME IS 3:00 P.M.; CHECK-OUT TIME IS 11:00 A.M. **NOTE: Prompt check-out is necessary to allocate adequate time for turnover cleaning services. Arrangements must be made for check-in at least one (1) week in advance.
Security Deposit: A security deposit in the amount of $300 shall be paid to AirBnB upon booking.
Terms of Occupancy: The premises are to be occupied by the tenant and their party only: NO PETS ARE PERMITTED. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED inside the premises. Violation of the above will result in forfeiture of the entire security deposit and termination of the lease. Tenant shall maintain the premises in a safe and sanitary condition. Furniture shall not be rearranged. All appliances shall be used properly. In addition, tenant agrees to comply with all covenants, conditions, restrictions, bylaws, rules, regulations, and decisions of owner’s association or Landlord, which are posted on the premises or delivered to tenant. Tenant shall pay any fines or charges imposed by owners association or other authorities, due to violation by tenant, or the guests or licensees of tenant. Tenant shall not, and shall ensure that guests and licenses of tenant shall not disturb, annoy, endanger, or interfere with other tenants of building or neighbors, or use the Premises for any unlawful purposes, including, but no limited to using, manufacturing, selling, storing, or transporting illicit drugs or other contraband or violate any law or ordinance, or commit waste or a nuisance upon the premises.
Liabilities: Tenant agrees to assume all liability and hold Landlord harmless from any and all injuries to persons or damage to property caused by Tenant or any on the premises with Tenants permission. Tenant agrees to pay any cost and attorney fees incurred by Landlord in defending any lawsuit or other action brought in reference to such injuries or damage. All personal property in the premises is at Tenant’s risk only and Landlord shall not be liable for any damage to it, nor is Landlord responsible for insuring Tenant’s personal property.
Access: Tenant shall allow Landlord access to the premises for purposes of repair and inspection. Landlord shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner. Landlord shall give tenant reasonable notice before exercising this right of access, except in case of emergency.

I love woodworking, swimming, reading, and playing. Chris teaches writing at Texas State University. We live in Austin, Texas and love it here. We seem to somehow travel quite a bit these days.
