I rented the house for a group of women to meet centrally for a weekend visit.
The house meet all our expectations,
Very clean, comfortable, wonderfully decorated.
I cooked a meal Friday pm and had everything I needed to make our meal easily.
I booked this wonderful home for my bachelorette weekend. I had 8 girls and 1 guy...lol..the guy was one of best friends who offered to take care of us for the weekend, driving, running errands, etc. so it was hard to refuse the offer...Anywho, long story short, we were all awesomely comfortable. I definitely don't recommend anymore than 10 people, there were 4 bedrooms, and we made the living room into one room for my guy friend w/ an airbed. Otherwise, everything described about the place had fit to a tee, the neighborhood wasn't bad, it's just your cute lil' typical Austin neighborhood. I couldn't ask for more, it was just what we were looking for. Unfortunately our host was unable to be at the house this past weekend while we were there, but she was helpful enough to keep in touch with us via phone/email. I definitely would book this house again for an Austin trip with a group, it's totally worth it!
The house was wonderful and very clean and neat. Jenny was very easy to get a hold of and great to work with.
Jenny was a great host and made the entire stay very easy and relaxing. The house is beautiful and had plenty of space for me and my family. The outdoor area was fantastic. The location was close to downtown and also had many options in the neighborhood. I highly recommend this home to any family staying in Austin.
We had a great time staying at Jenny's home, and all eight of us were more than comfortable. Jenny went out of her way to let me know that we could use her birthday banner, and even put matches aside for my friend's birthday cake. She was out of town when we arrived, but made it simple of us to get inside on our own. Because we had some terrible weather, we weren't able to enjoy the cute outdoor space, but I can only image how nice that area might be on sunny days!
If we visit Austin again, I will absolutely contact Jenny in the future.
We felt very welcome. The house was exactly as described, and neat as a pin. We were in Austin celebrating my daughter's birthday and our host had a "Happy Birthday" banner for her in the kitchen and also left her a birthday card. The neighborhood was cute and very convenient for getting into downtown Austin to see the sites.
Wonderful home! Jenny was great in helping our group get in and out easily. She responded promptly to all of my messages was really friendly & helpful. We had a blast staying at her home in Austin!
About the Host, Jenny
I love woodworking, swimming, reading, and playing. Chris teaches writing at Texas State University. We live in Austin, Texas and love it here. We seem to somehow travel quite a bit these days. We love having people stay at our home and getting to know new people from around the world. When we visit new places we like to find the local scene as much as the tourist attractions.
