Great experience, Sharon picked me up from downtown on my arrival in Austin and printed out bus route/timetable to airport on day of departure.
On the night I arrived I was treated to bbq'd chicken and a delicious salad.
Room is nice and clean and bed extremely comfortable, bathroom is big and is shared with one or two other guests.
Sharon and Petr are two terrific hosts, on my arrival they took me on a quick tour of their neighbourhood, showed me were the bus stop and the closest shopping mall was (10 minutes' walk from the house) while telling me a little about Austin and also about their personal backgrounds.
All throughout my stay they made me feel completely at home, each in their own special way. Grazie! Děkuju!
The house is in a nice neighbourhood.
Sharon was friendly and helpful.
She explained very well where to find what in Austin, and she had good recommendations!
Be sure to ask her for a quick overview over the city, it helps a lot with orientation!
I had a great experience at Sharon's! The place was very clean, quiet, and lovely! The neighborhood is beautiful, and Sharon was very helpful in describing the different places in Austin, and she suggested some places to visit as well! She sat down and showed me a map of the city, and gave very clear directions. Her husband is also very nice and he also had some suggestions for activities in Austin! Great experience!
Sharon and Petr were great hosts. Their home was very nice and comfortable and the neighborhood could hardly have been any nicer. They upgraded my room at no costs because someone decided to extend their stay in the one I had originally booked, and they were very accommodating with allowing me to extend my stay an extra night as well. They even provided fresh eggs that came from their chickens right outside the back door, so that was a much appreciated added touch. Overall a great experience.
I had a nice time in Austin. Sharon was a good host
The location of this place is a perfect home base for exploring Austin. Traveling to and from the attractions that we visited were minimal. It is also convenient that there is a bus stop nearby that will take you to 6th street. Sharon is also very accommodating and easy to get a hold of if you have any questions or concerns. Overall, I recommend staying here if you'd like to have a great spot to stay that's close to many attractions in Austin.
Despite only staying on Valentines Day, Sharon made my girlfriend and I feel very welcomed! The room was exactly as it was described. Her place is in a very convenient location if you are showing up for an event anywhere in Austin. There's a huge reminder about the location in her backyard; hey, you are in Texas Hill Country! In other words, Sharon is an excellent host; she made my first airbnb experience a very pleasant one!
