We had a wonderful stay at Helen's very private suite. The location is truly secluded and quiet but close to shopping and services. The suite is comfortable and well equipped. We look forward to staying here again.
Helen warmly greeted us upon arrival and communications with her were easy throughout our stay. This casita is clean, quiet and attractive. It was a great refuge while we spent five days in Tucson.
It is conveniently located to popping into town or exploring other places. And we really enjoyed walking around the neighborhood in the evening.
My wife and I had a very nice experience at Helen's BNB. Our 9 day stay as we were waiting to close on a home was just what we required. The quarters were clean, quiet, centrally located and well equipped. Helen was accommodating and congenial. We were completely satisfied.
We loved staying in Helen's guest house. It was a perfect fit for us! The patio was delightful, and while we usually ate breakfast indoors, the window overlooking the patio gave us a wonderful view of the surrounding wildlife. My girls loved watching the birds, prairie dogs, and jackrabbits. There were so many beautiful details to the place. Helen was absolutely gracious and very generous to have fresh fruit, bagels, tea, oatmeal, and even a chocolate bar set out for us upon our arrival. I enjoyed watching Fried Green Tomatoes and Arrested Development after my girls were asleep, and PBS was available to keep my 3yr old entertained while I tidied up and got the baby ready to visit family. I wholeheartedly recommend this space to anyone. It was a peaceful retreat and reasonably priced.
Helen had fresh fruit, bagels and chilled water waiting for us. Her clean and comfortable apartment is a great find. The true gem though, is the artful private outdoor area and the fire pit above. It was a wonderful place to relax in the morning and enjoy the desert landscaping and all of the many birds. I was greeted by a little lizard when I took out the recycling and we came across a rabbit in the driveway one evening too. It feels so private and secluded but the nearest grocery story is only minutes away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! My only regret is that we were so busy with 4 college baseball games that we did not have more time to enjoy.
