Other Things to Note
It's a family building with young children. We have a dog that will not be in the apartment when guests are staying, however if you are allergic to dogs this might not be the place for you.
This was a very inviting, cheerful and comfortable flat. I couldn't believe how big it was and the open concept makes it a great place to just hang out with friends in the city. The neighborhood is great and I love that you can walk to so many places like the corner store and restaurants. It is a good location for getting around Brooklyn and New York.
What a wonderful place to stay! Stephanie was so wonderful in making sure we were all set for our weekend in Brooklyn. The place was very big, comfy and clean. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you can expect. The beds were so comfortable and we felt very safe during our stay. The area around the apartment was great as well. Lots of places to eat and shop. I would recommend this place to everyone and would definitely stay again. Thank you!
This delightful airy apartment is spacious and comfortable, particularly the bed. Its location was perfect for us and it felt like a home away from home - with everything we needed - including plenty of good coffee and tea. The host was welcoming, responsive and helpful for a couple of minor requests. As a foreign carry on air passenger, I was very grateful for all the extras - lovely soaps (and I'm picky about smells!) and everything was easy. Providing wireless internet was also really helpful for us. Security, the doorman, was reassuring. Highly recommended for a sojourn in charming Brooklyn!
Lovely apartment in a centrally located building. Hosts were terrific to deal with. Very responsive before and throughout our stay. Will definitely look for this again.
The reservation was canceled 115 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Beautiful apartment in fantastic neighborhood in Brooklyn. We felt 100% safe and secure and really enjoyed the neighborhood. The apartment is comfy, convenient and finding free parking was easy. Great restaurants and bars nearby. Key was left with the Doorman as we were a bit late on our arrival and transaction couldn't have been easier. Pictures here don't do it justice - the place is amazing ! Stephanie was a joy to work with - no pressure, no stress and left a nice note with restaurant and other recommendations. She also sent a nice text on the evening of our arrival to make sure everything was going smoothly. Check-out was no hassles, no stress once again. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Brooklyn!
this apt is amazing!
you cant imagine how beautiful it is unless you get there. stephanie is a really patient hostess, i was trapped in the heavy rain and i was late for about 2 hours. stephanie was telling me drive safely and dont worry for the time. i got the key at the doorman, the doorman is also really nice.
if you plan to visit Manhattan by metro, the nearest station just take you 3 min to walk to.
in a word, i love this place!
We are a young couple in our thirties. Rene is a musician originally from Mexico City (though he's lived in NY for 9 years). Stephanie recently resigned from the Foreign Service and moved to NY to teach international affairs. We love to travel, explore NYC's music scene, and eat great food (we have many specialty food shops and great restaurants in our neighborhood). We both think New York City is the best place in the world, and we are happy to make great suggestions of places to see and things to do!
