Cosy apt in center of Amsterdam

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Spinozastraat, Amsterdam, North Holland 1018, Netherlands

The Space

I offer my fully equipped cosy studio in the center of Amsterdam. I am quite often abroad and think it is a waste to let the apartment vacant. The studio is on a great location, close to all touristic attractions, and the supermarket is only 1 minute away. And you have the apartment all by yourself!

The subway station is a one-minute walk and it takes you in 5 minutes to Central Station. By bicycle it is 10 minutes to Central Station.

The apartment is located on the most outer canal of Amsterdam on a dead end with a beautiful view on the water. The kitchen includes an oven, microwave, dishwasher and it is possible to use the washing machine. There is also a good working wireless internet connection.

And for the rest: you can use all the facilities in the apartment, including the guitar and chess board.

So do not hesitate to contact me if you have more questions!

The Neighborhood

Supermarket Albert Heijn and liquor store Gall&Gall are around the corner; when leaving the apt, turn left, follow the street leftwards and you'll see it in a glimpse

Getting around

The subway station and tram stops are 200 meters away. Every metro (50, 51, 54) takes you to Central Station. Both tram 7 and 10 take you in 10 minutes to the Museum District and Leidseplein

  • Thanks Daniel!

As a couple this apartment was the perfect size! There's a warm and comfortable bed, a big shower and a nice kitchen with everything you need. We loved the view, the park near by and the nice location of the apartment.

As we are no bikers, we decided to visit everything by foot, but you also have the metro right around the corner. About 3 minutes away there is also a supermarket and one of the finest bakerys i have ever been to.

Thanks to Daniel for this nice trip!

  • Daniel's place was exactly what I expected in Amsterdam. We stayed 2 nights at his place and it was just enough outside the downtown that it was very quiet and on a canal. Very very nice views from the big windows. His place is very easy to get to on bicycle or transit. (If you come by train, make a stop at (website hidden) (5 minute walk) as soon as you get off the train. 5euro a day for great traditional dutch bicycle.) The birds that sing in the morning are absolutely an enjoy to wake up to. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone in Amsterdam.

  • When we arrived, the apartment was fairly easy to find as it is right next to the metro stop which was ideal! First of all, I would highly recommend the patisserie right next to metro exit, it serves the most divine pastries ever!

Daniel was very sweet when we arrived outside the apartment. The cleaner wasn't able to make that morning but instead he decided to give is our cleaning fee back which was very kind of him- and the apartment wasn't messy anyway, so didn't matter at all to us!

In terms of size it is on the small side, but for us this was a perfect size and setup; the bed is extremely cosy and warm.

For anyone who goes to Amsterdam for a couple of days, Daniels apartment is perfectly situated to see all the sites. And I think it was a bargain for the beautiful views you get to see out of the window!

    Cheers Daniel!!

  • We really enjoyed our stay at Daniels apt. It was very easy to get to from the airport (train to central station, and metro to weesperplein and then a 30 sec walk along the canal side and Daniel was very understanding of our being delayed 2 hours. The apt is also on two tram lines which which was very handy for getting around (the 10 tram takes you to within a few blocks of the Anne frank house and one block of the rijksmuseum). The apt itself is up two flights of (steep) stairs and is a little lived in. It has a nice view over a little canal bank park onto a canal and the street out front is a cul de sac-so very little traffic and no noise. The apt has every thing you need, in a compact space - the bedroom is very small but worked just fine for us.The building is a typical canal side house and is a little lived in, some of the floors might not be quite level, but we loved it and bonus, free wifi! :) We also found the location very handy for local tourist attractions, the artis zoo and resistance museum etc being an easy walk away. There is also an excellent bakery next to the no 10 tram stop for your coffee and croissants in the morning. If i'm ever back in Amsterdam I will definitely check to see if Daniels apartment is available.

  • Daniel's apartment is great, cozy and in a very good location. I think value for money we couldn't have found anything better, we were extremely satisfied with our experience and would repeat at his apartment if we came back.
It is not right in the centre but in a walking distance from everything (20+ min, which is great since while walking you discover lots of the must-see of Amsterdam, and beautiful canals). The other big advantage of this is the quietness of the area (even if the supermarket is right across the street), and the beautiful view to a canal from the window.
In terms of the apartment, it is the very adequate size for a couple, it is really cute (we really enjoyed his taste!) and it has everything you could need, oil, vinegar, lots of species, toaster, kettle, he event leaves his guitar there for you to play! We loved the amount of light that comes in the huge windows, and it is surprisingly not cold at all but warm and cozy. His apartment is in the second floor and the stairs are steep, but this is something you can expect from all apartments in Amsterdam so it is not a drawback.
Thanks so much Daniel for this great stay!! We had such nice days!

  • Perfect location to discover Amsterdam. Quiet place with nice view on the canal. You can walk in 20/30 minutes to all the tourist most important things. If you prefer the subway is really close to the apt. We spent a great week in Amsterdam and Daniel was really kind with us. Highly recommended!
