The charming historical home has 4 bedrooms w/a 5th room that works as den/bedroom on 2 acres of land. Gather around the firepit, sit on the front porch and watch the sunset, enjoy the hiking trails at Ecco Adesso Vineyards farm or check out the tasting room. It is truly the perfect getaway & conveniently located near Lexington, VA.

The space
The Old Timber Ridge Farmhouse is a beautifully restored farmhouse that was built circa 1819 and adjacent to our farm winery; Ecco Adesso Vineyards. It was part of the original land grant given by the King of England that encompasses the farmhouse and the Farm Winery across the road. The farmhouse sits on 2 acres of land with views of pastures, mountains, a bubbling creek, and neighboring horses and cattle. The living space is bright and airy with beautiful original floors, gorgeous fireplaces with hand crafted hearths and mantles in almost all of the bedrooms, living room, and kitchen, and charm beyond all measure.

Kick back and relax on the front porch in one of our rocking chairs or read a book in the hammock. Enjoy a perfect evening under the stars by the fire pit and enjoy a meal under the big oak tree. Close to Historic Lexington, The Virginia Horse Center, breweries and wineries, ski resorts ( Massanutten and Wintergreen ), hiking, fishing, river tubing, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, museums, farmers markets, several wedding venues, and VMI and Washington and Lee University. Guests also have access to the farm hiking trails during their stay.

The house is perfect for year-round activities that this area is known for. We invite you to be our guest whether you want a family trip, romantic weekend away, a fun friend's weekend, or just a nice getaway, the Timber Ridge House is the perfect place. A true combination of character and charm of an authentic farmhouse with a fresh and modern ambiance.

Rockbridge County has a required 10% lodging tax built into your nightly rate.

This is a quiet rural area and even though you don't see them, we do have neighbors not too far away. No parties please and there is a noise ordinance after 10pm. No parking is allowed on the street only in the driveway.

SHEEP: Please do not feed the sheep. You may have a visit but we ask that you do not feed them anything as it could be very harmful.

We are a traveling family of four. My husband and I have our own small business and have two children who are ages 10 and 11. We have traveled the world and want to share our experiences with our children. Through our travels we have come across AIRBNB and have used it quite a bit. Since we have had such a good experience with it in our travels we thought it would be a great way to share our Farm with friends to use and enjoy as much as we do. We are very respectful of the homes we stay at as we can appreciate those who respect our home in the mountains as well. For travel: We speak a little German, Italian, and Spanish.
