Soulard is a thriving, lively, historic neighborhood just south of downtown where you'll find great laid-back bars with live music and plenty of tree lined streets with brick paved sidewalks. Beautiful architecture and spectacular people...A gem of a neighborhood in St.Louis.
Deanna's Soulard cottage melds form and function in a way I've never experienced outside of a showroom. It was warm, cozy, full of character, and lived like a modern space even though it's a historic building. It combines the best of old- and new-world charm. The outdoor spaces were equally enchanting. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we had the loveliest stay here while we were in town for a family graduation. Deanna met us when we arrived and showed us around briefly before setting us on our merry way, and we appreciated the little touches like her handwritten recommendations for local restaurants and other places to explore. The listing and photos are true to life, and we would highly recommend staying here to family and friends who have plans to visit St. Louis. Thanks, Deanna!
Deanna was such a great and gracious host! She was very helpful and available for questions. Also, incredibly amazing home. Would recommend to anyone.
Incredible! I would buy this house it was so lovely. She was so helpful and kind and had all kinds of goodies in the fridge. This is the only place to stay if visiting STL
Deanna's house is beautiful and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood has a variety of bars and restaurants within walking distance, but the house is still calm and quiet. We chose to rent a car while in St. Louis and had no problems parking near the home or in the Soulard neighborhood. The house is well located, about a 6 minute drive from downtown.
Deanna was very helpful and flexible. She left the keys in a lock-box and responded quickly to any questions I had during the stay. Before our arrival she sent detailed instructions to ensure we found the home with ease. Overall Deanna is an attentive host. I highly recommend this home for your stay in St. Louis!
Our stay with Deanna was absolutely amazing! She was there right when we checked in, went over everything, and even had snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The house was very cute with lots of charm! It was a great location to everything we wanted to see and we loved being able to walk to various restaurants, etc. for dinner. Overall amazing experience and we cannot wait to return!
