Large upstairs room in a stunning two story two bedroom house in the middle of rice fields. Breathtaking views from all windows.

The Space

The upstairs room has a king size bed with mosquito net, a desk to work from, cupboards, draws, large open space. All windows on eye level with rice fields – stunning sunsets on par with Sari Organics. Glass doors open to balcony with fish pond and hammock, more views! Private bathroom with shower.

Open kitchen, 2 day beds, outdoor table/chairs, main room opens to POOL.
Wake up and plunge straight in. Lots of space for yoga practice and contemplation. A great base for life in Ubud.

The house is new, modern with local touches, furniture made out of antique wood. WIFI Connection throughout the whole house and garden.

Located in Kutuh Kaja area, right near the Botanic Gardens on Tirta Tawar Street, there are several great cafes near by. A short drive or 20 minute walk into Ubud central.
House is in the middle of rice fields so no direct car access from main road, accessible small gang by motorbike or short walk - the perfect tranquil spot.

Guest Access

You have access to it all. Please, make yourself completely at home!

Interaction with Guests

This is my home, I live a life between yoga and creative projects. Im happy to help with questions, to share a meal, to share some tips. My passion is living a healthy lifestyle, and living life to the max.

There are some great walks around the rice fields too. The house is cleaned every 2nd day, laundry can be picked up and delivered and any other special arrangements can be arranged

Getting around

I have a bicycle you are free to use and I can also arrange for you to rent a scooter from our laundry lady. Otherwise there are drivers nearby, or walking into town is also a treat through the village

  • Without any doubt the best place to stay in Ubud!

The room/the ambiance is so much better than the pictures could ever portray. You're totally surrounded by rice fields. Even when you're taking a shit, the view is stunning! (For this experience alone even, you should stay here!)

Just 5min from the busy main road, you're already in the countryside, living between the locals.

Sleeping with doors open, hearing all the animal noises, is really humbling and liberating.
Dont expect absolute luxury, there might be hanging a spider web here or there. But the price is great, for a room and a balcony that spacious!

You only have to share the pool with your host. Swimming surrounded by nature is quite magical (and priceless!).

About your host's the tricky part...I cant be objective about her, cause she changed my life.
I came to Ubud to do a juice cleanse, she ended up guiding me (she does retreats, so she's a pro). I learned so much; about the amazing world of raw food, yoga, Ubud life, great places in the neighbourhood and so much more.
She's very sweet and will always try to help you if she can.

Dive into the magical city of Ubud, try the delicious raw food cuisine (nooo that's not only salads!), practice yoga, stay with Oksana and you'll return home more rested and recharged than ever!

And to Oksana I say: you are an amazing creature and I'm forever grateful to you!

  • I had a wonderful time staying at Oksanas beautiful home. After months of travelling it was so nice to have a home with a comfortable bed, amazing Ricefield views, private balcony for yoga etc. Oksana welcomed us with open arms and was a very generous host, full of helpful suggestions about the area. Thanks Oksana, hope to see you again soon.

  • I am a city girl and having crazily busy life in my home tome, Seoul. That's why I was eager to enjoy slow life in somewhere. Bali sounded like a heaven to me and I decided to go there. And my priority was just taking a good rest there. That was all I wished. And my dream came true in Oksana's place. There was everything I wanted. Slow life, beautiful scenery and sister-like Oksana. We had lots of things in common such as yoga, meditation and so on. If someone wants to enjoy that kind of things in Bali, should visit Bali and stay at Oksana's. You won't regret anything at all.
We got to have sisterhood for each other during my short holidays. It is another amazing and precious experience that I got from Bali. I'm really appreciate that.

  • Hi guys to tell others in the airbnb community that I had a different experience from what I was expecting. Hostess was all quick with my booking and arranging me a taxi, but attention: this is NOT a luxury villa, mind there will be more people staying in the same place, one of them was more helpful then the hostess herself!
My room was simple and clean, views over rise fields were quiet & nice but pool, bed curtains and kitchen were dirty.
Don't expect to have any breakfast offer or suggestions on where you can get food or where after your arrival at night or where to change your currency :/ I had to ask hostess for a glass of water and mango for dinner after 22 hrs of flight , since everything was closed. This place is 40 to 55 min walk to Ubud city centre and Yoga places , in the evening it gets dark at night hard to find it on the dark street.
There were plenty of other rental paces available in the centre and even on the same street - I changed to other bungalow in the centre with the great views over the rise fields for almost half price with breakfast, and smiley hosts :)
Hostess Oksana was into " herself process" which I understand she needs the money from us for rent, but cant advise from my experience to anybody to stay there. Hope this reviews helps, also a tip for Russian fellows: Oksana exchanged about 3 phrases in Russian language, which I am fluent at, admitted she is totally not Russian, but Australian. Which is great, so just know what to expect.

Regards and happy stay in Bali!

    Response from Oksana:

I found Rokolana to be very aggressive and demanding. On her arrival she announced she had come on a 'healing journey' and began to pull on me to assist her with her personal problems. I had stayed up to greet her late arrival and prepared food for her after she said she was hungry. My villa is what it is for $37 a night, Im not sure what she was expecting for the price range. She seemed unstable and desperate, and nothing seemed to please her.
I wish her all the best on her journey.

  • Its was a great stay and I definitely enjoyed every minute! Oksana is a great host, as I felt like at home since the first moment. Villa is located in a quiet area just next to the rice fields, so you can enjoy beautiful view and sounds of nature during your stay. Love it! Overall it was a superb time, looking forward to come back one day and highly recommend to everyone to get a try and enjoy the beauty of Ubud & says at Oksana's place!

  • We had such a great time at Oksana's lovely home in Ubud. Her house is just amazing, almost magic, and has the most astonishing views to the quiet rice fields. This is one of those place where you don't want to stay just for sleeping but also to enjoy it's peace and beauty. Imagine just staying at your balcony watching the glow worms at night and the birds during the day...
Oksana was also really nice, always so willing to help and share local tips, and we even spent christmas day with her and her gentle friends.
We really felt at home in Ubud. Thanks!!

  • Oksana's place is a comfortable home in a lovely spot situated in the rice fields surrounding Ubud.
Oksana was easy to communicate with and timely with her responses. In addition to questions about the property she answered my questions about Ubud. She also helped me to arrange pick up from the airport and a motorbike for my stay. I had a great stay and felt very at home. The room was cleaned every couple of days and it was possible to have laundry done.
I would recommend that you feel comfortable with riding a motorbike if you plan to stay out here or be an in-shape cyclist. It's about 10 minutes outside of the center of Ubud on the motorbike up a beautiful road.
The porch of the room is a lovely spot for yoga or contemplation and a great spot to watch the sky turn from dusk to dark or to watch the gaggle of ducks plodding about in the field. I hope to stay here again when I come back to Ubud.

  • I loved my time with Oksana. She is a very respectful and generous
host and always a happy person. The place feels like a real home,
Fantastic room, a very nice terrace with an awesome view a superb hot strong shower. It's a real nice Ubud experience because it's very quite and with the bike a beautiful ride into Ubud center.
I can only recommend to stay with Oksana.

  • Oksana's place is an absolute dream!! And Oksana is an inspirational, wonderful, incredibly accomodating host Best host you could possibly ask for. The bedroom is wide open and airy and the windows look out on rice paddies surrounding the room, you feel like youre sleeping outside, not to mention theres the awesome large balcony big enough to do yoga on. The place is gorgeous, homey, and the perfect place to stay, especially if you are open and looking to experience the ubud life. Its about a 15 min walk from town but you can rent a scooter easily. And ubud is cool enough that you dont need air conditioning at all. Cant recommend more, one of the best places weve stayed at.

I am Australian and have been living in Bali for nearly four years. I work with underprivileged kids teaching yoga, and I have a documentary in the making. Im currently working on on a yoga and raw food retreat, and hope to assist people with healing journeys in the near future. I live with my partner who is from Java, he has an art studio near by so his hours are flexible, I too have a varied schedule. We have two cats that roam in the hood. I love living in Indonesia and hope I can share some of my passion for the country with visitors.
