Antonio was very helpful and his appartment was as described.
Centrally located and parking was not an issue.
He recommended places to eat and places to visit.
The apartment is close to the main sights in Rome. Very conveniant. Their is a playground close by and some good low cost restaurants. Antonio's recommendations and quick tour of neighborhood he gave me was very helpfull. The apartment was well stocked and stylish. The apartment is below ground level so it stayed pretty cool in the evening. We slept with the blinds down but the windows open and the neighborhood was quiet. The one downfall which I think is sort of common in Rome is our car was broken into. Antonio did offer restricted underground parking that we should have taken.
We had two adults and two tweens staying at the apartment for 9 nights. Antonio provided very helpful information and directions before we arrived. The friend who met us at the apartment was on time, polite and helpful. The apartment looked exactly like the pictures - plenty of room and comfortable. While the kitchen is small, it is very efficient! We made many meals in it and had everything we needed. The big refrigerator was also very nice and worked well. The grocery store was a short walk (approx 7 mins) away - take your own bags (there are 2 in the apartment to use). Having a wash machine and dishwasher and modern bathroom was also very nice. We had plenty of hot water and slept well on the comfortable beds.
Antonio checked in with us and made sure we had everything we needed. At one point we asked for an additional fan (the apartment -like most- does not have A/C) and he brought one over right away - no problem!
Each morning we walked the 12 minutes to the Metro. The Re Di Roma stop is on the convenient Red/Line 1 and we could go many places quickly and easily from there.
We did not take Antonio up on his offer for a ride from the airport, thinking we would take public transportation - and, in hindsight, we wished we had asked him for a ride. :)
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this apartment to other travelers.
Antonio's flat in Rome was a perfect place for our family of four to stay for four days. Antonio was very much in touch with our travel plans and organized a private car to pick us up at the FCO Airport and take us directly to the flat. I highly recommend this after a long trip!
The flat is located 10-15 minutes from the Re di Roma Train Station that you can use to get to all major Rome attractions, so some walking and the subway or taxis are necessary to get to attractions. There are several good restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk.
Antonio provided us information about buses and trains and a list of recommended restaurants in the area that we appreciated.
I highly recommend this space for a family of four to five people. Thanks, Antonio!
Merci encore Antonio!
Antonio was really kind and helpful. He was available during our stay. The flat is well located, near the center and monuments. It is also well maintained and cozy. The only little flaw is that the bathroom is in the bedroom, not very convenient for 5 people. Thank you again Antonio!
Vielen Dank, Antonio!
Antonio was an excellent host and he provided great information about the apartment, local area, etc... His apartment is perfect for group/family of 4-5 people. The rooms are very spacious and there was a lot of sunlight despite being at ground level.
The apartment itself is excellent, and exactly as described. The apartment is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood with restaurants and supermarkets near by where you can feel more real Rome and Italy than in the city centre. But, it's also very easily to catch the centre by bus, metro or walking. Highly recommend this place.
