  • Hollie was great, and very flexible with me.

My only negative feedback would be the dogs; there are three small dogs that are constantly barking any time you (or anyone) walks by the location. One of them even bit me as I walked out; it didn't hurt, but was not appreciated. They also started barking one morning at 8am and didn't stop for over an hour, I'm guessing as their owner was out. As I have non-standard hours, this was an issue to me trying to sleep during this time.

  • I stayed in the suite for almost 2 weeks and was very happy. The suite was very cosy and comfortable. It's in a good location close to coffee shops and restaurants.

Hollie was very friendly and helpful and made my time in Vancouver very enjoyable.

  • I recommend this rental, and hope to stay here again myself next time I visit Vancouver. It was just like staying in a hotel, except the refreshing décor, backyard garden, and little touches made it feel a lot more like home.

Everything was very clean and professional. The mattress is firm (my favorite, but not my partner’s!). You need to climb a flight of narrow stairs, walk the length of the main house and up another flight of stairs to get to the entrance, but this being my very first Airbnb experience, I really wanted a private entrance because I was worried all my coming and going might disturb the hosts. Not very many affordable rentals offered one, so this place was the top of my list.

There is a tiny market down the street that’s overflowing with quality food and snacks. Since we were there over the weekend, we could park for free on the street. During the week parking is limited to 2-hour blocks, so we timed our traveling just right.

  • Holly's place was perfect - cozy yet spacious and had everything I needed for my 4-day stay. I love the neighbourhood, quiet yet central with cute character houses. Very close to a couple of my favorite restaurants (the Union and Harvest for delightful ramen).

  • Such a pleasure staying in Hollie's suite. It was beyond comfortable, clean, and beautiful. She provided us with more than enough to get us settled in and my boyfriend and I felt like we were right at home. Better than a hotel? Most definitely. Just a 20 minute walk into the downtown area and we enjoyed walking through Chinatown and around Commercial Street to see a different side of Vancouver!

  • Staying at Hollie's was great. My girlfriend and I were looking for a place to stay for a short vacation in Vancouver, and we had a wonderful time here. Hollie had very helpful suggestions of places to eat and see which were all very helpful, and the location is a short walk to downtown. The room itself was quite comfortable as well. Overall it was a fantastic stay!

  • This was our first experience with an airbnb while visiting family in Vancouver, we loved it! Hollies suite is perfect in every way, the right amount of space that has such character, we loved the shower great pressure, nice to have own private entrance, the location was very central to all we needed. Hollie was very accommodating and very easy to communicate with, we will definitely go back again and experience Hollies suggestions. Can't wait to see that beautiful back yard in bloom!

  • My husband and I rented Hollie's suite after we decided to take a short trip to Vancouver to visit some friends. The suite was incredibly comfortable, with a great bathroom, gorgeous deep tub and fantastic water pressure. When we arrived at the suite, Hollie already had the heat on for us as it was unusually cold! I felt comfortable and welcome. We were familiar with the area, but Hollie updated us on all the new restaurants and coffee shops in the area, which was very helpful. To sum it up the suite was perfect for our needs. It was central to everything that we were doing (about a 10 minute walk to downtown), and didn't feel small or hotel-like. It felt like we were simply staying in a friends' extra bedroom. Thanks again, Hollie! We had a great time :)
