Sutherland Avenue (Maida Vale) is just a few minutes walking distance from the beautiful Little Venice, where you can take a lovely boat trip from the Regent Canal to Camden Town to visit its famous market. The property is also just a 20 minute walk away from Notting hill which is home to the famous Portobello market. There is something for everyone here as there are a several different market days; antiques, traditional vegetable stalls, vintage clothing etc..
Sutherland Avenue is a very wide tree-lined Victorian Avenue just a few minutes away from the Warwick Avenue tube (bakerloo line) & bus station, which will directly connect you to Oxford Street or Knightsbridge, plus there are lots little restaurants and old english pubs (Prince Alfred and The Warrington) which are all within walking distance.
The house also has a wonderful private communal garden which you free to use, this is a great place to relax in on a beautiful sunny day.

Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder her kommen! :) Vielen Dank !!!!
Pas petit déjeuner et personne lors de notre départ
Musique à fond qui nous a empêché de dormir
Pas d'eau chaude plus de 10 minutes impossible de se doucher
We didn't get to see Erika much as our schedules didn't much a lot, so we just saw her when we arrived and a little bit in the last night, so unfortunately we didn't get to have breakfast as some previous reviews mentioned. The house is very beautiful, the neighbourhood is quiet, residential and with good connection to everything (bus no6 passes very close to the house and runs 24 hours and underground is very close)
The room is indeed very spacious and nice, the bathroom very clean, generally a good choice, just as seen on the photos and would recommend it as it's not possible to get a hotel room in the area at this price.
Erika is a very good host and made us feel warm and at home. She is an interesting person with a very interesting and beautiful house in a very nice area of london, close to warwick avenue tube station. I would recommend anyone to stay, a much nicer experience than a small hotel room you get in London. *****
I absolutely LOVED staying at Erika's place. It was a beautiful location, very close to whee I was working and the room and en-suite bathroom was stunning. Erika herself is a lovely host- there if I needed help/had questions etc but I was able to keep to myself. I loved it and will definitely be coming back for certain!!! Cannot recommend it more!!!
Erika's house is as great as it shows in the pictures. Nice and quiet neighborhood with 5 minute's walk to underground and 24 hour supermarket. Lovely restaurants are nearby. We fell in love with the place at the first sight and the spacious room and confortable ensuite bathroom are very nice. As a host, Erika is wonderful and we enjoyed our conversations very much. Definitely recommended and will be back if possible.:)
It was my 10 year daughter's "dream come true" first trip to London and Erika helped us to make our 10-day stay more than perfect.
She was very friendly and available for any assistance needed including daily breakfast at any requested timings. The room was spacious, super clean, comfortable and gorgeously decorated with Erika's artistic touch. It was also filled with plenty of children's books and even with a lovely stuffed pony who instantly became my daughter's first friend in London. Her place is nearby little Venice just 5 min walk from Warwick Ave station in an very quiet and lovely residential area. Yet there are many nice cafes, restaurants and shops nearby including the beautiful Clifton Nurseries' shop and cafe. Buses going to the centre (Marble Arch, Selfridges etc) stop just around the corner and are very convenient. Erika is sociable and we really enjoyed having conversation with Erika, meeting with Erika's friends and family. Highly recommend to stay with Erika if you would like to experience real Londonner's life.
Erika and her home made our stay unforgettable.
