Patricia went out of her way to make our stay special. She was very knowledgeable about the culture, directions, restaurants, safety etc and made herself available when we needed anything. She went the extra mile and prepared breakfast for us as well! We were lucky to have such an awesome experience. Came strangers and left friends. Highly recommend staying here!

Patricia's place is a wonderful find. I've stayed at 5 different SMA Airbnb's ranging in price and I have been most comfortable at Patricia's house. Her description of a Peaceful Secure Economical room is spot on. The room she provides has all your basic needs met. She goes above and beyond too by providing soap, coffee and milk. She also makes a great breakfast at a reasonable cost which I found as a bonus. It is very tranquil here, her house is filled with cool collections from all over Mexico and she's got an amazing organic garden and great stories too. Great place for short or long stay.

It was a wonderful stay with Patricia again. I so enjoy everything about her beautiful home. Patricia makes you feel that it is your home too. I was welcome to pick organic greens from her roof top garden, and prepare food in her kitchen. It is very quiet here, and is a short walk to the Organic mercado and El Cental. I have stayed at a few Airbnb in San Miguel., and Patricia's is the best. She is very willing to help you find places, and share her knowledge of San Miguel and the culture here. She is an artist so her home is full of her collection of beautiful local art. A true joy, you will enjoy your stay.

I had a great time at Patricia's home. An excellent host, Patricia was generous, a great source of local knowledge, and sincere, enjoyable company when our paths met. I'd thoroughly recommend her as a host, and her home is amazing, one of a kind.

I am going into my 10th year in Mexico. I first came to Mexico in 1973 to San Miguel to study Spanish at the Instituto Allende. I have travel extensively all over Mexico to search for Mexican Folk Art, recently in Guatemala as well. Some have described my apartment as museum of Folk art and I have an extensive collection of Embroidered Traditional Blouses and Shawls. I have an extensive library of books on Mexican folk art. I also am a jewelry designer and I collect beads from all over the world.
I teach Psychology and Social Work online through a University in California and I am a psychiatric social worker.
Another passion is organic gardening. I took a year long class in Organic gardening and I have green house roof on my back patio and have plants on my roof as well. I have five crates of worms that are for compost and regularly make worm tea, liquid worm fertilizer. I go to the Saturday organic market weekly to get the veggies that I don’t have in my own garden.
I also enjoy swimming in the local Hotel Aldea pool and going to the hot springs at La Grueta.
