We have lived here for 17 years, we love everything, the weather (the sun shines here when all around SF can be foggy) It's like living in a donut hole. Walking in the neighborhoods of Mission (murals), a picnic in Dolores park/beach. The variety mouthwatering restaurants and cafés. Bars and live music are bountiful. 10 mins to Union Square on the J Muni line a block away.

Other Things to Note
Our garden is having a facelift, hammock, tikki bar and lots of drought friendly plants. We have a pak'n'play crib for our younger guests too.
No smoking and no pets.
Jo was more than welcoming and we loved staying at this lovely apartment. You cannot beat the location, and having access to the garden was an extra bonus. Having the door open in the morning as we welcomed the day, had coffee, and planned our adventures was just the epitome of a great vacation. We stayed with our family of five, and Jo was gracious and thoughtful as she set up the air mattress in the larger bedroom for the two youngest members of our party who would have fallen off the big bed. We appreciated these types of personal touches that helped make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. This is our first airbnb experience and I'm not sure it can be topped! Thank you Jo for being an incredible host. Hopefully we can come back another time! If you are ever in Brooklyn, let us know!!!
The place was amazing! Great location, comfortable beds, cute decor and outside (website hidden) was friendly and accommodating.
We would certainly stay here again!
We had a great visit in San Francisco and a highlight was staying in the Dolores Street apartment. The apartment was perfect for our family - space for everyone. We particularly enjoyed sitting outdoors at night to enjoy the garden and beautiful weather. I was fortunate to chat with the host, Jo, a few times and learn more about the city and things to do. Overall, a very positive experience - highly recommended to all.
This rental worked very well for our family. The kitchen was fully equipped and beds very comfortable. It was clean & neat upon or arrival. Having the pak n'play for the one yr old was great, & our 3 yr. old loved the pallet that Jo made for (website hidden) was so helpful anytime we had a question or problem. We really enjoyed the backyard too. Only challenges we had were understanding street parking rules. One certainly needs to be good at parallel parking if you have a car or take Jo up on using her garage. We would rent this property again
Joanne and her gorgeous apartment were both wonderful. She really went the extra distance to make sure our check in and the whole experience went smoothly. My family had a really nice visit. Thanks so much!!!
Joanne's place was absolutely fantastic. All our needs for three geeks visiting SF for work and play were more than met. The outside area with the hammock and sunshine were a pleasant plus! Would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat!
Jo was absolutely fantastic and made our stay in SF very special. The apartment is gorgeous and it's in a great part of town with lots of good places to eat and organic and wholefood stores all over the (website hidden) was super helpful with lots of tips and suggestions for our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt most welcome.
Having the Sketches Outlet Store just down the road (corner of 22nd and Mission St) meant that we ended up buying 2 extra bags to fit our massive shopping spree in! I think we bought 30 pairs of shoes between the 3 of us.
Thank you so much.

We love living in this neighborhood, we have lived here for 18 years. Our down time is spent, traveling, skiing, sailing, mountain bike/cycling, going to movies, seeing live music and eating out.
I love hosting and it's your home too for the duration of your stay and your privacy is respected. I will leave you alone to get to know the city or I'm here to offer ideas if you ask. I am always available unless I am doing one of the above activities :-)
