Other Things to Note
We have two very sweet cats. They are not allowed in the guest room.
No smoking, drugs, or alcohol in the apartment.
Abby and her daughter made me feel right at home, their home was very clean and nicely decorated. They have two cats which are beautiful, and very friendly. Abby showed me around the home and where things were. My room was clean with fresh sheets and pillows. I would stay here again and recommend anyone else to stay with them. Wonderful hosts.
Abby and her daughter, Sarah are very nice and always concern if I were fine to live in the place. We had good communications. The place is just same as the picture showing. It takes about 5-10 mins from her place to Subway Station by walking, and about 30-40 mins to the main sightseeing place like downtown Manhattan. The place is in residential area, which is safe and convenience that there are lot of restaurants and shops in walkable distant.
Staying at Abby's place for the night was very nice. The flat is very clean, and Abby and Sarah are so friendly ! I would definitly recommand this place :)
Thank you for everything !

This is the 4th time in 10 months when I book with Abbe for a New York stay and I shall continue to stay there on visits to NYC. Do I have to say more just to comply with your format requirements ? regards Hans Christner
Abby made my daughter feel very welcome during her stay. The room was lovely. It was very comfortable and clean. It was close to transport to get to the city. Abby was very good at providing advice and help during her stay.
I stayed at Abby and her daughter's for two weeks, and I enjoyed my stay. They have a huge (for NYC) apartment with lots of light that is very homey and in a good condition (and that comes with two very friendly cats). Abby and her daughter were very welcoming and generous with their time, information, and sharing of the common areas. And Abby always responded promptly when I texted her questions about the apartment or area.
The neighbourhood is quiet and feels safe and residential, but there are quite a few restaurants as well as a grocery store very close by, and the subway is only a 10 minute walk away.
I would definitely recommend staying here to others but with the caveat that the commute into the city can take quite a while. I was commuting to the East Side of Manhattan every day, and that took 1.25-1.5 hours one way on the subway. And I made a trip to Prospect Park, Brooklyn in about 1.75 hours one way (on a Saturday, so train service was more limited). I knew about the long commute going in so was prepared, but it is something to be aware of, especially if you are staying for a longer period.
Abby is an excellent hostess; creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the home... goes the extra mile. The room was neat, bed comfortable.
I'm the mother of two grown children who likes to play tennis, read, cook, and listen to music. I enjoy chatting with guests and helping them get around New York!
