  • Linda is a lovely host! We so enjoyed our stay at her home. The house itself was amazing, immaculate, beautifully decorated, and full of gorgeous artwork create by Linda herself.

We had a wonderful breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our morning conversation.
I can't wait to return for another visit.

  • Linda was the perfect host because she is kind, considerate, and sensitive to the needs of her guests. Her directions, amenities, conversation, and suggestions were all just right! We would definitely stay there again and hope to do so.

  • Linda and Smoky are wonderful hosts. The house is beautiful and the bedroom/bathroom clean and cozy. Her breakfasts are wonderful and she is a fountain of information/directions for anything in the Portland area. We enjoyed our conversations and look forward to another stay with her.

  • Linda provided a beautiful, clean room and a spotless bathroom with all the amenities you'd need for a comfortable stay! We only got to chat with Linda for a little bit in the morning, but she was super nice and went out of her way to be accommodating. I would definitely recommend others to stay at Linda's!

  • Linda was a very kind and gracious host. She allowed us to leave our bags in her studio while our room was being prepared so we didn't need to carry our bags around as we explored Portland. The room and bed were comfortable and the bathroom was clean and bright. We enjoyed chatting with Linda over breakfast. Her dog Stormy was very sweet as well. This was my first airbnb experience and everything went very smoothly - would certainly stay again if I am in the area.

  • What a great time we had at Linda's house! Everything was better than anticipated. We were there for three days and Linda gave us lots of information about Portland and the area. We were within walking distance of a great coffee house and the commuter train. She also gave us a wonderful breakfast every morning. Highly recommended for the Portland area.

  • Linda without doubt is the most fabulous host when we stay in the United States. The neighborhood of the house is near the TriMet station to downtown, and quiet and peaceful as well. The room she provided is very clean and cozy. She was such a great host that took care of the guest in detail. We enjoyed every organic breakfast with Linda. That is both very delicious and we could have very wonderful conversation with her. Besides, Stormy, the cute poodle was a very considerate pet. We will recommend people to stay in this lovely house.

  • We had a wonderful time staying with Linda, she is a wonderful host. She was able to provide lots of recommendations for fun things to do and the public transportation routes to get there. The house is easy walking distance from the MAX. Her home was beautiful and comfortable, she provided all the finishing touches of an upscale bed and breakfast (shampoo, lotion, chocolate, etc. etc.). Breakfast was both delicious and filling. We would definitely stay with her again whenever we are back in Portland.

  • We had a lovely stay at Linda'a (and Stormy's!) house. The room was wonderful and clean, and the breakfasts were delicious (with fresh picked raspberries and blueberries from Linda's garden!). Linda accommodated my dietary allergies happily and made us feel very comfortable. The house is close walking distance to rapid transit downtown, as well as many restaurants and neat breweries in the area. We had a lot of fun discovering places in Linda's neighborhood by just wandering around on foot in the evening. Linda also gave us great recommendations on where to stop on the way down the Oregon coast (the Green Salmon in Yachats was AMAZING!). We would definitely stay here again! Thanks Linda!

  • Linda's place was great. The bed is comfortable, you have your own bathroom, everything is clean, you have space for your stuff. Linda is supernice, has lots of good suggestions for things to do in Portland and makes delicious breakfasts (the three days we were there: eggs, pancakes, homemade granola). This was one of our best AirBnB stays so far -- highly recommended.

I live in a lovely area near downtown Portland. I am a watercolor artist and enjoy shape and color and how it lights up my life. I have the world's best dog, Stormy, who is a standard poodle. I've lived in Canada and Germany as well as several places in the United States. I love to travel and look forward to meeting people from around the world. When the wall came down in Germany, I loved to travel into the eastern zone and listen to conversations of people in the cusp of transition. I recently saw the movie, The Butler, and loved it. Foreign movies, reading, especially those set in areas of the world that are unfamiliar to me, are my favorites. I love to cook, so come join me around my table and in my cozy home.
