Linda is a wonderful host! She is so kind and helpful. Her place is on a quiet street. Our room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable for us to stay 2 nights. Great central location to get to all parts of the city. Her breakfasts were healthy and the perfect way to start the day. We had a great stay and would stay again! Highly recommend!

Our stay at Linda's was perfect. She stayed up to welcome us into her home. She also made us breakfast and coffee in the morning! I would definitely stay here again :)

I had a wonderful stay at Linda's place - she was very flexible when I arrived early for check in, and the room and bathroom was very clean. I appreciated the thoughtful breakfast options, and enjoyed our conversations. It felt like a small home away from home. I drove while I was there, so I can't speak to public transport, but it was easy and fast to get to downtown and around Portland. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. I came in late both nights and was afraid that the dogs woke her up, but Linda was very nice about it. I would stay again if possible.

Linda User ProfileLinda is a superhost.

I live in a lovely area near downtown Portland. I am a watercolor artist and enjoy shape and color and how it lights up my life. I have the world's best dog, Stormy, who is a standard poodle. I've lived in Canada and Germany as well as several places in the United States. I love to travel and look forward to meeting people from around the world. When the wall came down in Germany, I loved to travel into the eastern zone and listen to conversations of people in the cusp of transition. I recently saw the movie, The Butler, and loved it. Foreign movies, reading, especially those set in areas of the world that are unfamiliar to me, are my favorites. I love to cook, so come join me around my table and in my cozy home.
