The Rose Room is the first room upon arriving at this property. The colors and decor speak for itself the reason for its name. The Alley McKay House is a historically recognized home built in 1851 by Daniel Alley who was the co founder of Jefferson. This unique home is one of the oldest homes in Jefferson, TX. Recently brought back to life by the current owners Paul and Darlene. Quiet and peaceful best describes this home but convenient to downtown Jefferson just a few blocks away.
The space
1. Check-in is after 3:00 PM Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
2. Registered guests only. The maximum occupancy is the number stated in your reservation.
3. No parties, events, or outside groups without prior approval.
4. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM out of respect for other guests and neighbors.
5. No smoking, vaping, or illegal drugs anywhere inside the house.
6. Pets are not permitted unless approved in advance. 7. Please treat all furniture, artwork, and historic features with care. Do not move
furniture or remove decorative items.
8. Do not use candles, incense, or any open flames inside the home. 9. Children are welcome but must always be supervised due to antique furnishings,
fireplaces, stairs, and other historic features.
10. Report any accidental damage immediately so we can address it .
12. Please keep food and beverages in designated dining areas to help protect antique furnishings.
13. Parking is permitted only in front of the property onE Delta Street.
14. Please turn off the lights and other electronics when leaving your room.

We offer several private rooms with attached bathrooms for overnight and multi night stays. The parlor, dining room and outside courtyard are common areas for all guests.
