Experience our restored historic 1888 bank in your private first floor Poppy Suite, inspired by Monet's ‘The Poppy Field.’ This boutique retreat blends art, music, and French cottage charm right on Main Street, in the heart of Indiana's Antique Alley- steps away from the shops. Sleeping 2 guests, the spacious suite offers a kitchen, living room, dining area, and bathroom. Wake to complimentary artisan pastries, and Nespresso, fresh flowers in summer months, and a vinyl record collection.

The space
Monét on Main Bed & Breakfast is right on Main Street in downtown Cambridge City, Indiana. The Poppy Suite is on the first floor of our historic 1888 Monét building. Keep in mind, we have two other private suites in our building: the Garden Suite is decorated in an English country style (sleeps 7), and the Water Lily Suite (sleeps 5) is decorated in mid-century modern. Both are on the second floor.

You can explore over a dozen antique shops and local restaurants just steps away. Pilgrimage Winery is also just a few miles down the road with live music every week. We can offer you recommendations so you can plan your trip accordingly.

Whether you're planning a girls' weekend, celebrating a special occasion, antiquing through East Central Indiana, visiting family, or simply seeking a quiet escape, Monét on Main offers a stay as memorable as the destination itself.

Guest access
Guests receive a private entry code before arrival for convenient self-check-in anytime after 3pm (earlier time may be arranged).

Private parking is available behind the building.

Other things to note
• Large selection of vintage decorating and garden books and magazines, as well as games for all ages

• Paint-by-number Monét artwork that guests contribute to and sign

• Ice machine located in the Commons upstairs if you prefer over ice trays in your suite freezer

• Pets and smoking (including vaping) are not permitted on the premises.

• Additional seating (beautiful bamboo folding chairs) for intimate gatherings is available upon request with advance notice. Your suite can easily accommodate up to 20 guests for entertaining. Please just adhere to house rules and quiet hours.
