About This Listing
We are offering a lovely double room furnished with antique furniture in a luxury flat with a private shower room.
We are offering a double room and exclusive access to a shower room in a modern newly built luxury flat.
The room we are offering is light and fresh and boasts antique furniture - a double French style wooden bed, an Edwardian double wardrobe, an antique marble top bedside table and a French antique bureau.
There are magnificent views from the floor to ceiling bedroom window of Erno Goldfingers's brutalist masterpieces, the Balfron Tower and Carradale House. If you are holidaying in London we would highly recommend visiting Goldfinger's former home in Hampstead (2 Willow Road).
You will have access to a bathroom & shower room. There are two bathrooms in the property (you will have exclusive access to the shower room during your stay). The apartment has underfloor heating. There is also free WiFi.
Please help yourself to coffee (we have a Nespresso machine as well as fresh coffee available), in addition to tea. Also help yourself to toast, cereal, milk and juice in the fridge, and use the lounge/dining/kitchen area at your leisure. Aside from the basics above please feel free to bring in your food to store in the fridge (you will have an allocated shelf in the fridge).
There is also a secure bike storage facility in the basement.
Also, take advantage of the roof terrace on the 20th floor, which has incredible panoramic views over the entire city.
We also have a "business lounge" in the building with free Wi-Fi, sofas, chairs, tables and a wide screen television - a great space to work in or have meetings in if needed.
There is also a concierge who is on site from 7am to 7pm.
We are located a stone's throw from Canary Wharf which is both walkable or reachable in 5 mins on the DLR (the Langdon Park DLR station is two mins walk from our building). We're also a short journey away from the stunning Limehouse basin, "trendy" East London (Columbia Road, London Fields, Broadway Market, Victoria Park), and 30 mins by public transport to Central London. There are many attractions nearby including the O2, the Olympic Park, the Queen Elizabeth Park. We also have quick access to Central London (20 mins).
Double guest room;
Exclusive access to shower room (located next door to the guest room at the back of the property);
Interaction with Guests
We will be happy to offer recommendations of places to visit. We'll assume you'll want to be left to your own devices so we'll stay out of your hair.
We're well connected transport-link wise. We have a DLR (Langdon Park) which is located 2 minutes on foot from our building. The DLR is part of the tube network and connects to the Overground too. You can be in Central London in twenty minutes.
We do not have many rules but we do request that shoes are taken off before entering and leaving the property, only because we have cream carpets throughout the corridors and bedrooms. Only the lounge area has wood-laminate flooring.
We also request that food and drink is consumed in the lounge/dining areas only and not in the guest room - again due to the carpet and the cream upholstered bed.
Do help yourself to coffee, tea, cereal, toast, milk and juice. We also have a microwave and oven that you are welcome to use.
Other than that, we'll try to make your stay as pleasant and fuss free as possible.
I had a wonderful stay at Elias and Sandra's flat which is in a stylish new luxury apartment building very close to Canary Wharf. It's 15 minutes easy walk to Canary Wharf which was perfect for me. The room and the bath room were both wonderful and impeccably clean. I followed Elias' suggestion and went to the 20th floor roof terrace at sunset where there are some spectacular views of London to be had. Highly recommended! Elias was a great host and made me feel very welcome (Sandra was away during my stay). I would gladly stay again.
Great stay in London! Big thank you to Sandra and Elias! My room was really comfortable with a nice view. The bathroom was perfect and Sandra and Elias made sure I had everything I needed while staying in their beautiful home. The rooftop views over London were spectacular! I enjoyed staying here and will try to visit Sandra and Elias again with my wife.
I had a very nice stay at Elias and Sandra's flat. Both Elias and Sandra showed me around the flat and made me feel welcome directly when I arrived. They took the time to sit down over a cup of tea to get to know me a bit and to tell me about them selves.
The apartment is very nice and modern, with a good layout for sharing. My bedroom was nicely furnished and the bathroom was well equipped and clean. I had a comfortable stay, and highly recommend staying with Elias and Sandra especially if you need a place close to Canary Wharf.
The location is super convenient, just a few minutes to the dlr, and then Canary Wharf is only a few stops away and the connection to the city via Poplar or Bow Church is also decent. The closest bus stop just around the corner of the building was a good additional option for transportation, especially coming back after a late night in the city.
Don't miss the fantastic view from the rooftop, well worth a visit! Many thanks Elias and Sandra.
I had a nice stay at Elias and Sandra's flat. Although, I arrived late at night, Sandra showed me around the flat and made me feel welcome. The flat is well located in a modern building close to DLR station and with easy and fast access to Central London. The room was nice and clean. I had an access to the kitchen and nice living room where I could enjoy a cup of tea and breakfasts. I definitely recommend. Thanks Sandra and Elias!
We really enjoyed our stay at Sandra and Elias 's home. A very warm welcome from a lovely couple. Sandra speaks perfect French that really helped.
The location is very convenient, directly on the dlr, Canary Wharf is only few minutes away and Westfield stratford very close as well.
The apartment is very nice, we loved the furnitures and our bedroom.
Don t miss the amazing view from the rooftop!
Thanks Elias and Sandra. We surely come again.
Staying at the Panoramic Tower with Elias and Sandra was a very pleasant experience. The flat is beautiful and the building's roof terrace is fantastic!!! The place is as beautiful as it appears on photos.
The place is well connected, very close to Canary Wharf; Chrisp Street Market is at 100m distance, you have supermarket, pharmacy, dry cleaning, etc.
Elias and Sandra are perfect hosts: they are always available to help you and to make your stay easier and more pleasant, and they can also give you valuable advice and tips to enjoy London as a true londoner would.
I strongly recommend you to choose them as your hosts for your London stay, whether it is for work or for travel. :)
About the Host, Elias & Sandra
I work in feature drama production as a Line Producer and Production Manager; my wife works for a financial company in Canary Wharf.
I am half Moroccan, half English (and a true Londoner - raised here my whole life); my wife is of Portuguese origin and was raised in Paris. Between us we can speak French, Spanish, Portuguese and (a little) Arabic.
We are both passionate about London and would be happy to recommend places to visit including museums, galleries, bars, cafes, restaurants and other general attractions. In the words of Samuel Johnson, "If you grow tired of London you grow tired of life".
We enjoy looking after people and will try to make your stay as pleasant and carefree as possible.
Stop here for some proper East End grub - they also do the best salt beef bagels in East London in my opinion.Market Way E14 6AH
