This was a great apartment, and we loved staying here. The host was very helpful and timely with any questions that we had. The apartment was decorated beautifully and spotless when we arrived. It is located in a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants, etc. within walking distance. The only challenge was finding nearby street parking if we got back late at night. Overall, this was a great experience!

Thank you! The property has limited items because i will no longer be available for rent. We have had to adjust to the new laws around short term rentals. My property is owned by an owner that does not reside within the dwelling. I am so happy you enjoyed saying at my property. Peace on your path!

Do not stay here. Host is extremely difficult to deal with and property is not in good shape. Details are below: We were in constant contact with the host and said we would be arriving at 3:30pm. She said no problem so we were surprised to receive a call at 3:30pm saying her assistant needed more time to clean the apartment. While we were frustrated, it sounded like it would only be a few minutes cleaning, however; when we arrived we were told it would be at least an hour (ended up being 2 hours.) The assistant said we could change our clothes but seeing as we are two girls, we did not feel comfortable sitting in the apartment with a man we did not know and since we just came from the airport we had our bags with us and we had to leave them in an apartment with him. I called the host and was very polite with her, explaining that we were told it would be at least an hour for us to check in. She began raising her voice at me when I said that we had dinner plans and since we came straight from work so we needed to shower and the bathroom specifically was not available to us as the assistant told us the bathroom alone would be an hour wait and I asked for a $20 refund. We were very confused as the check out time was 11am so we could not understand how it was taking them 6.5 hours to clean a one bedroom apartment. I then told her to let me know when the apartment was clean but she never did. When we walked into the apartment at 7pm, it looked fairly clean but we then found the prior person's hair in the bed and all over the pillow cases. In addition, the host even said herself there was water damage and the bathroom was filthy. On top of everything, the description says toiletries are provided and there was literally nothing left for us. By the time we got toiletries, re-parked and showered, it was 9pm and we missed dinner with our friends that we had traveled to see. Then for 4 nights straight until 2am the upstairs neighbor was having parties. And then at 8am every morning the apartment buildings next to the AirBNB were being torn apart (which the host never mentioned to us.) The AirBNB description says there is a washer and dryer which is not true. As we left, she didn't provide us check out instructions because she thought we were leaving on a different day. We have had over 20 trips with Airbnb and never encountered a host that does not care about the people that are staying there as well as falsely advertises. We are currently in contact with Airbnb to receive a refund as after 2 weeks, the host still has not provided a refund and has lied about several situations which we documented.

The apartment was very "homey" and cosy - you can definitely tell that it's a fabric designer's home! We were greeted with a nice spa feeling - folded towels, soap and air of essential oils. The area is nice and walkable: King Soopers and Wholefoods are just a 5 mins walk away, there is a nice park nearby, a café with great coffee and some restaurants. I appreciated the proximity of a B-cycle station, which made it easy to bike down to Downtown. Some evenings we stayed at home to cook our dinner and made use of the well equipped kitchen (we even baked bread!). There was no microwave but I never missed that. After some initial misunderstanding with the cleaning company we had a very nice stay in the apartment. The host was very quick in replying to messages and made sure our stay was comfortable- we even extended the stay. Thanks Madera Elena!

I am a work in progress. Moved to Brooklyn, New York from Denver to live with my husband. I embrace a home that shows my practice of living an eco, organic, natural and conscious life style. It's simple. As an eco-conscious fashion and textile designer, renovations and home stager, my company Madera E. Rogers Designs, LLC and lifestyle brand, (URL HIDDEN) The goal is to incorporate recycling to zero waste practices at 80%. My collection of unusual artwork, and solid teak furniture compliment my name, Madeira in Spanish means "wood." There's great energy in the space that allows the student, professional student of life to be at peace while at home.

Five things I can't live without:
1. Food!! I love cooking ad much as eating
2.Water 3. Humor at self 4. Great attitude 5. Belief in peace

My hope is that who ever stays at my home will be relaxed, and appreciate life!
Peace to you,
