Join us at our beautiful shared loft in prime East Williamsburg/Bushwick. Located between either the fifth or sixth stops on the L Train from Manhattan, we're only 15 minutes from the city!
Our common space is huge, bright and the room itself is a duplex with the full bed that sleeps two lofted giving you total floor space away from the bed and lounge area. It is the larger of the guest rooms so more comfortable for longer stays.
There's affordable laundry in the building with elevator access to the machines if needed. The building itself is large, always changing and full of life with occasional parties and repairs so a completely quiet or smoke free night cannot be promised especially on weekends.
Make yourself at home and feel free to help yourself to use of the living room, kitchen, dry storage and storing in the fridge, and the two BnB shelves I've assigned that have:
1. Coffee, snacks, granola, pasta, etc.
2. First aid, iron, hairdryer, etc.
Interaction with Guests
There are other loft mates and a shared common area, kitchen and bathroom. We are totally available to mingle, outgoing, and friendly but always on the go as I'm sure you will be too.
There are also my 3 very friendly female cats data, dito and basil, and a turtle who reside in the common area only.
You will be my house guests with towels, soap and fresh bedding provided. You're just expected to lock apartment door when coming and going as well as be respectful of our space and more permanent residents.
This fast growing community in Brooklyn's industrial district makes for an amazing new, creative, sharing environment. The variety of art, bars, cultures and food along the way make these lofts NY at it's best.
*Love to give special offers for longer stays!
*Check out the guidebook in my other listing
*Lock door when coming and going
*DO NOT let cats in room
*Smoke in hallway with ashtray or outside
**Please read details in house manual before arriving
Tres bon accueil. Kevonne et ses chats sont tres sympas. Facile d'acces depuis JFK et manhattan. Beau loft. En revanche luminosité un peu decevante et le lit n'en ai pas un vrai.
We really enjoyed staying with Kevonne and her cats. We also liked that the apartment was close to the subway!
Kevonne is a nice person. The photos are not recent, we had problems with hot water and gas and we had to go to a different floor to take a hot shower every morning. The guys from the other apartment were not nice with us. The size of the room is quite small you can't stand up and the stairs are not easy to use. The red pipe in the room is really dirty. The cats are really friendly. The house (outside the room) was clean all the time and I loved the neighborhood, there's a pizza place called Roberta's (amazing) and some stores where you can buy fresh fruit.
My stay was short but sweet. The loft is very nice and has easy access to Manhattan.
Kevonne was there to welcome me on arrival which is always nice.
The cats were lovely as well.
Kevonne is a great host who makes you feel comfortable in her house. The sleeping room is small and looks like a tree house, which makes it really cool to sleep there. Earplugs are recommended because of the noise from apartments above, but besides that it's a nice and cozy place to sleep. The whole apartment is spick-and-span. Kevonne has three cats, but you'll never find any hair in the room.
If you don't want to spend money for breakfast, you can make some yourself in Kevonne's kitchen. Coffee is also available (for free).
It's just a 5 minute walk to the subway, which brings you to Lower Manhattan in just 20 minutes (if you stay more than 4 days: a 7-day subway card for $30 is recommended!).
Kevonne, thanks for being our host. Say our hello to the cats and we hope to see you soon!

Kevonne was a great host. She was very friendly and accommodating. The place was awesome and we would definitely go back if we ever come back to NYC. It was very homey and the rooms were cute. Coming back after a long day of sightseeing to her three cats was one of the best parts about the place. Subway is a few minutes away too!
Kevonne made me feel very welcome. She's really cool and laid back. The room is neat, very simple and functions well. The room is spacious and the fact you get a desk and a mirror and then the bed on another level is awesome! The neighborhood is fine. It's a very short walk from the L metro and that takes you directly to union square and 8th ave which is perfect. I spent most of my time in that part of the city. Kevonne is very cleat, all house guidelines are written down on post its all over the loft :) so that was cool. oh and the cats are adorable!
